History

Established in 1997.

EPOCH Senior Living was formed out of a deep commitment to ensuring seniors enjoy a happy, carefree and healthy lifestyle. The company was founded by senior care professional Laurence Gerber in 1997, whose goal was to redefine the senior healthcare and senior living industry. His vision was the development of a healthcare continuum that could effectively serve as many people and as many needs as possible. EPOCH is now a unique, regionally focused company, providing a full spectrum of integrated health care and residential services for seniors.

Currently recognized as New England’s Provider of Choice for seniors, the EPOCH continuum now includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care, Rehabilitation and Memory Care. Each service EPOCH offers reflects a philosophy of embracing each individual’s physical, emotional and mental well-​being. The result: a network of communities and services that help seniors thrive.
