History

Established in 1998.

In 1998, proprietor Bill Honeycutt opened the first John Brewer’s Tavern in Waltham at 39 Main Street/Route 20. The Tavern quickly became a favorite gathering place for Waltham and the surrounding communities, known for good food, good service and reasonable prices. In 2008, the second John Brewer’s Tavern was opened in Malden at 7 Highland Avenue featuring a large outdoor patio with a full bar and the same good food, service and prices.
