Upon check in everything seemed ok. I ignored the utility men behind the check in counter, figuring they were just doing maintenance. Left for dinner came back to a note stuffed under the door notifying me that the water was going to be turned off from 9 – 10 the next morning and from 10 – 12 there would only be cold water available. To make up for the inconvenience bottle water would be available at the front desk. Wish they would have mentioned it when we got there. The room itself was clean and modern. The walls were super thin. So thin, I could smell the buffalo wings the guest in the next room was eating. The smell lingered and made me nauseous. The sound of slamming doors coming from the hallway was annoying. There are a few other hotels with in a stones throw stay at one of them.

This place is way over priced. Rooms are poorly designed. You can not see the tv from bed. The lobby/lounge and restaurant was not a warm and welcoming place. People are unable to chat and strike up conversations with fellow travellers. AVOID this one.

I have been staying at this hotel for at least six years now. It is a favorite of mine. The rooms are very comfortable, relaxed. The beds are large and extremely comfortable, a good night’s sleep for sure. Probably the quietest room I have ever had, you cannot hear anyone in any other room. I like a room facing the lake if you can get one. The pool area and the whirlpool are adequate, a little small. My only complaint would be, why isn’t there a breakfast included? Almost every Marriot I visit include at least a continental breakfast, some have had fantastic hot buffets. Free coffee is all you get folks. The breakfast is $ 11.00 and I would suggest you forget about it. Not worth that much money. It is all slop, corn beef from a can, chewy bacon, powdered eggs and of course, tons of breads to toast. Cereal, yogurt and instant oatmeal rounds out the list, oh, yea apples and bananas. The chef taking orders for omelets, well, if you go that far, can they be real eggs? Ok, this is more about the lodging and not the food. If you want a good night sleep, you found the place.

Stayed here for a wedding weekend in the area, and very much enjoyed my time here. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and facilities. The gym and indoor pool and jacuzzi areas are excellent amenities, albeit a little small in size. My only complaint is that the AC in the rooms is like an arctic blast, even if you turn up the thermostat. However, unlike most hotels, at least the AC controls are easy to use. I’d stay here again if around the area. Easy access to Boston, I-95, I-90(Mass Pike) and the Burlington Mall(movies, restaurants, etc).
