Lara W.

Business Owner

Lara Woolfson is a Boston-​based photographer and owner of Studio Nouveau which specializes in fine art weddings and boudoir. She is a 2005 BA graduate of UNH and received her MFA in visual art from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in 2010.

Her work has been shown at Gallery 808, Bromfield Gallery, and published in Conde Nast, Huffington Post, Boston Magazine, Southern New England Weddings magazine, The Knot, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine, Seacoast Weddings Magazine, and Well Wed to name a few.

Amazing is how I would describe these 2 spectacular ladies. They not only arranged their schedules around mine (I traveled from 3 states away) but they came up with an engagement photo shoot location when I was «freaking out» because all my ideas just didn’t seem to fit our personalities. The location was amazing and the shoot was so fun I wanted to do it over and over. No pressure… No commercial/​typical photos (unless that is what you want of course). We were completely at ease and it showed in our FANTASTIC photos. Can’t thank you girls enough– everything we wanted and more– can’t wait to see what they pull out of their hats for our wedding :)
