if i could give no stars I would! first off this isn’t from a service for me its for my mother. My mother came home in tears from these disgusting rude people. Off the bat they continuously talked down to her bc of her grey hair, so much grey omg look at all this grey. GREAT customer service right, do you think that makes someone feel good about themselves? Then they went on and on about how many dead ends she had. Again seriously!?! She was a first time customer and had the $ 39 coupon, told her it would be a little bit more bc of so many grey then said her hair was long. Her hair is a smidge past her shoulders a smidge. She was txting me the entire time they were making her feel so bad about herself and saying she had long hair. When she went to pay it was an additional 30 $ more for«longer hair» and extra color. Are you crazy how is 30 $ more on a 39 $ bill a bit more! I called them when my mom got home, asked to speak to the owner the receptionist was rude then put Carol on. I could barley get 2 sentences out before she started screaming and yelling at me cut me off, i tried speaking again and she said don’t cut me off!!. are you crazy lady you cut me off and wouldn’t let me finish. was saying when hair is in the middle of the back we have to charge more i said my mother has never had hair down to the middle of her back in my ENTIRELIFE. you making that up, then she said my mom was sooo happy they were chatting about the weather when she was done and the storm the week before. first off making small chit chat is not a sign of a good experience. My mom would walk out with purple hair and not say a word that’s just how she is, as a kid she sat under a dryer and got burned but never said anything, She just isn’t the type of person to speak up ever she would just never go back. So i have a crying mother who is embarrassed by how she let her hair get so grey of course im going to call. Carol besides screaming and yelling, if you get so defensive so quick clearly you know your in the wrong. She hung up on me, when i called back a second later she became busy with highlights. The receptionist again was rude and said i could give my number and carol would call back. yeah i don’t think so, am i giving you my number. But before carol hung up she told me to have my mother come back and get a refund… yay a light at the end of a horrible experience. So Saturday I am brining my mother in to get her money back. Also these crooks swiped my moms card as a Debit so she cant dispute the charges on a credit card. Needless to say i can see by the HORRIBLE reviews this place has and how they are basically begging for new clients with the coupon and clearly rip them off. DONOTGOTOTHISPLACETHEYHAVENORESPECTFORCLIENTS, RUDEANDNOCUSTOMERSERVICE. CAROLYOUSHOULDBEASHAMEDOFYOURSELFANDYOURBEHAVIOR. Yes i would up yelling but that was so i could attempt to get a word in, I tried talking to you like a professional person but you are no professional. ** UPDATE** Carol called me this morning and apologized, she said in her 35 years this has never happened. She apologized for her actions in yelling and such that I caught her off guard. For that I do accept her apology and she said for my mom to come back and get the additional money she was charged back, the Haircut portion the 15 $. In the end this was never about the money its how they made the Client my mother feel, she understood that and said she would of probably done the same. So yes I appreciate the call and her apology but i will say the other Unilocal reviews say it well. Everything in life is a lesson so hopefully everyone takes something from this.

Wanted to love this place. Really a lovely salon. And maybe I was seen by the wrong stylist — new girl named MICHELLE. Unfortunately cut was crooked and quite jagged when I only asked for a trim. As for the color, not creative or even sensible. Instead of seeing the full foil highlights that were there and just doing a root touch up, covered all the highlights with a very dark color. Doesn’t seem to know much about the salon, as her answer to many questions I had about services and prices at salon, etc was I DON’T KNOW. And on top of all that, as a new client, they(for some reason) wouldn’t honor the NEWCLIENTCOUPON for color, cut and blowout(which was advertised as $ 39). Instead it was $ 65. Annoying! Go to the city and you can get a color and cut at an Aveda salon for $ 75 by a very experienced colorist/stylist.
