Pretty sure this place has closed down. I have no reason to want to see these people fail, and I’m sorry that seemed to have. I went there about three times, the food was fine(they did a cool little thing with hot dogs, very outside the box) and outside of one time where most all the beer was flat — we liked this place. It was convenient. We went there the first week, and they were still learning the ropes, but that is understandable — and they made it right. It took them a while to get started, seems that«coming soon» sign was up for some time, but I’ve seen that before with liquor licenses. But here is the thing, if you want to make money and stay relevant, you have to be open. And this place was just closed too much of the time. First it was a week here, then it was every Sunday in August, then they opened up at 4PM. Ya gotta work folks. I don’t recall the exact percentages, but they say something like 65% of restaurants close the first year(90% was proven to be too high). I hope these guys are not included in that calculation, because they didn’t even seem to try.

Stopped in on a quiet Thursday night. It was a delightfully home-y place. The owner was hanging out behind the bar casually greeting patrons that came for dinner. The bartender slash waiter was relaxed and genuine, and even stepped out with myself and my friend for a cigarette(hour two into our outing). There was a handsome, older man outside at one point, and the poignant smell of his sticky greens came flying into the place. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more comfortable in a restaurant where it was my first visit. We had coconut shrimp with an unlikely plum dipping sauce… delicious! The beer selection was impressive, and once the beer keeps coming it’s hard to remember much about the food. I do remember a unique hot dog sampler and the crispy calamari. Must try!

Stopped by here on my recent visit to NYC. Great place. Had the basic burger and fries and a few beers. They have a nice selection of local and imported beers there, plus a house beer that’s fantastic. The owner, Pete is great. Came and hung out for awhile, and we had some laughs. Gotta love a guy who knows all the same lame trivia you do, lol. An awesome local pub. Definitely worth checking out

Recently stopped in for a late night burger and beers the bourbon bacon burger was delicious and the place is new and clean. It reminds me of Corry’s Ale house by the train station only smaller. The owner Peter was tending bar and could not have made me feel more at home I will definitely be back.

Stopped in tonight with my wife, sister in law and future brother in law. It was not very crowded, but the food, service and house beers were excellent. We had the bull burger, the mac and cheese burger, a hot dog trip and a chicken quesadilla and everything was amazing. The staff was super friendly. There was some interesting music chosen tonight by some other patrons that added something to the atmosphere. :)
