History

Established in 2013.

We opened Gadget Med in October 2013 at a retail location. We decided to move the business to a home office in February 2015. By moving our business home we were able to drop our prices by 20% on most repairs. Our home is located in a nice neighborhood and is very safe. Our office is next to the front door as you walk in so you will not have to go through the home to get service.

Dropped off an iphone 5 with water damage. Paid $ 50 up front for diagnosis. The young gentleman I dropped it off with was very pleasant and said he’d try to remove corrosion by placing it in an ultrasonic machine. I was promised a call within 24 hours but instead received a call 3 days later.
It was the owner that called. He blatantly stated that the phone could not be repaired and I needed to pick it up. Did not bother to explain what they tried or what else could have been done. Basically it was that I paid $ 50 and was told it could not be repaired. Maybe there is no way the phone could have been repaired but I expected better customer service and explanation from the owner. I will try a different place when I have a problem with my electronics in the future.
