Anchor Nails and Spa

For all previous manicures I had gone to a different salon, pretty much for convenience of that salon being so close.
Little did I know that this treasure of a place wasn’t that far away at all. I just happened to being looking for a nail salon that was open on President’s day and I came across this nail salon on Unilocal.Every other view that gives this place 5 stars is 100% accurate!
Seriously this was the best service I have ever received from a nail salon! I have found my new nail salon that I plan on visiting a lot more. You’re not get the great service you receive here from any other nail salon.

I went to this salon by chance (because I love anchors) when I tell you, best chance ever is an understatement. If your looking for great service this is the place!

I’m hesitant to write this because I want this place all to myself. After some disappointing experiences at nearby salons, I decided to turn to Unilocal to find a new nail place that wouldn’t break the bank. I was not let down. I called on a Sunday to see if they could fit me in which they did, after hours no less. I start a new job tomorrow and my previous manicure from another salon a week ago was chipped and peeling. I regret not asking again for the name of the wonderful woman who did my nails but there’s two of them and they were both friendly and talented. My shellac looks flawless! It was exactly what I wanted. I will be a regular there even though it’s not very close to my home. Some tips… it’s best to bring cash but they do take credit cards for a dollar extra. It’s hard to find but it’s behind the Little Caesars on the southeast corner. If you want to go on Sunday be sure to call ahead and make an appointment. Next time I’ll be getting a pedicure too!

I’m still sitting in the chair as I write this review, and I’m so excited about this place, I couldn’t wait to review it!
Heaven…heaven is how I would describe my experience today.
Wonderful business ladies, sisters, who really know how to treat a customer. Very engaging, calling you by your first name, including you in conversations.
Their hours on Sunday are only until 5, but they were getting calls, and actually accommodating to the clients, and staying open later.
Very precise work, no rushing, just a lovely relaxing atmosphere. They don’t do acrylics, only natural nails… mani’s, pedi’s and shellac. Only $ 22! Yesss!
They are a new salon, and I could not be happier to have found my NEW PLACE!

I found this place by pure luck looking for nail salons near my doctor. I really did get lucky! I have been getting shellac manicures for over 6 months and was disappointed with my old salon, my nails always came out looking bumpy and thick! That is not the case here!
It’s a small place in a plaza but don’t let the appearance fool you! I came in and one woman was working, Angelie– who is part owner. When she seen me waiting she called her sister, Dee– the other owner. Dee got there quickly so I had a very small wait time for a walk in.
I showed Dee a photo of what I wanted and picked my colors. There was absolutely no communication barrier and Dee listened to me and what I wanted. I’ve had trouble at other salons when asking for something specific, many other salons won’t listen to you or just do what they want. Not here! Dee asked me to make sure my nails were filed the way I wanted. She paused to make sure I liked the color. Dee and Angelie took time to make sure I was happy! These two woman are all about customer service! They both talked and were friendly the whole time! I am so happy with the job they did and you can’t beat the prices! Very reasonable!
I do not live in that area but I will be driving that extra 25 minutes from now on! That is how great they were! You have to check it out for yourself!

Don’t let the «hole in the wall» vibe fool you! This little shop is so great! The quaint location makes you feel like you’re having a private nail appointment. Deepa (the owner) and her sister Angoli are the two nail techs there and they do a very thorough job. I used to go to Deepa when she used work at a «nicer», bigger salon and I fell in love with her! When I found out she had her own salon I was so happy and I know where I’ll be going now! Not to mention the prices are out of this world. I spent $ 40 on a mani/​pedi with shellac. That’s unheard of other places. Other salons will charge you for a mani pedi shellac staring at $ 55. Only thing that may set them back is they don’t do acrylics, but they choose not to for health reasons. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Great new nail place! Only the best service here. You will not be disappointed if either of these girls take care of your service. Get the paraffin pedicure, you will not regret it.

These ladies do excellent work. Spent time and was one of the most thorough pedicures I’ve ever received. They are so well priced and provide quality service. I would definitely drive the extra distance for service with them.

A hidden gem that just opened this month! The two women who opened this salon are incredibly caring and attentive to exactly what you want. Prices are reasonable, my shellac French manicure was $ 23! I will be returning!
