Description

Specialties

Primitive Originz is a country gift shop that specializes in primitive home décor and unique gifts made by local artists. We also have our own line of signs made from reclaimed wood. The store also caries antiques, textiles, lighting, soaps and candles.

History

Established in 2015.

Our family has been in the Antiques business for several years. My wife and I have always loved primitive home décor and we ranged far and wide visiting unique gift shops whenever the opportunity presented itself. Eventually we started making what we couldn’t find close to home and then selling those items on Etsy. We started searching for studio space that we could dedicate to making signs and other products. We eventually decided on a space that was also zoned for a retail location and suddenly we were managing a store as well. We have always frequented local businesses whenever possible and part of our mission became to provide a retail outlet for talented local artists who might otherwise find themselves lost in a sea of other products on Etsy. Our doors opened on July 1st 2015 and a new chapter in our lives began. We hope you come for a visit and we hope you find our shop worth the trip!
