Cox Studio is a professional, full service photographic business. Michael Klondaris attended the Winona School of Professional Photography and also received the «Master of Photography» degree from the PPA. Cox Studio specializes in Senior, engagement and family portraits. Cox Studio also has the ability to photograph Corporate, architectural, product, industrial and aerial commericial photography. Cox Studio is the area’s leading expert in photographing class reunions, family reunions, sports teams, business training class portraits, retirement parties. pre-​schools, dance school portraits and special corporate functions. Cox Studio has the area’s largest selection of frames and mat samples. Cox Studio can print anything up to 24 inches on our Epson Printer. We also have the ability to dry mount and laminate your large prints or art work. Cox Studio offers instant passport and immigration photos. Cox Studio offers in house copy and restoration services.

History

Established in 1944.

Cox Studio was founded in 1944 by Clarence and Lena Cox and was located in the basement of the Stephenson Building in downtown Warsaw. In March 1956, following the death of Clarence Cox, Terry and Martha (Cox) Klondaris entered the business. Terry gained professional education at the Winona School of Professional Photography and later returned as an instructor. In 1961, Cox Studio moved across the street to 112 E Center Street (downtown Warsaw). During this time, Mrs. Clarence Cox was doing hand oils on black and white photographs. In 1967, came the development of «direct color photography» and Cox Studio was one of the first to use this new technology. In the 1970’s, Michael and Cindy Klondaris, children of Terry and Martha (Cox) Klondaris, entered the business. In 1985, Cox Studio procured the present facility at 151 South High Street in order to better serve their customers.

Balanced with an ability to visualize the client’s conceptual desires and how to creatively achieve them, it is Michael’s goal to deliver images that tell their story. (Don’t lose sight of the objective!)

As a third generation photographer growing up in the medium, and with the Winona School of Professional Photography only minutes from his home, he grew up in an environment awash with the thoughts of some of the best.

In August 2001, Michael received the prestigious «Master of Photography» Degree from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) for his continuing education and the numerous awards won for his photographic excellence.
