This is one of my favorite places to shop in town. The staff is super friendly and helpful when you need help finding a particular item.
The selection of their wines and liquors rivals most small liquor stores. The deli salads are better than any I have ever had and they have a wide variety to choose from. The sushi chef is amazing — what they have to offer is better than the restaurants in the area. The bakery items are always fresh.
They might be a little high priced on some things but if you shop for the sale items and use coupons, as I do, the trip is worth it.

Nice supermarket with super friendly staff. Martin’s reminds me a bit of Wegman’s back east: deli and salad bar, fun bakery, lots of the typical supermarket grocery items. There is also a Starbucks inside this Martin’s. I noticed a fairly large wine/​liquor/​beer section as well. The only gripe I have is concerning the salad bar area: there are SO many flies in Winona Lake/​Warsaw that the food should be covered better. I don’t like to think about what may have already touched the salad… however, for a grocery store, Martin’s is pretty marvellous. :)

What an incredible salad and hot food bar for lunch! Very fresh — the bar itself was well stocked and attended (most of the time — she kept leaving to refill items). Sounds as though she does the prep in the freezer area! Very fresh. I wasn’t looking for warm food, just a salad — but I got a side of alfredo pasta and it was delicious.
I’d highly recommend this place for a stellar lunch — the mezzanine seating area upstairs was very nice, attended and also very clean. Great lunch, great value.
