I was being serviced by this salon for close to 1 year. I do not know why I continued. Each time I entered for a fill the manager, would always extend a nasty comment. I was perplexed! Comments such as: Why is it taking you so long to find a color, you smug you pay, stop moving stay still, my nails grow up is why she said I was getting fungus and why my nails would pop off. Not true! Her method of filling was she would apply the product and not take off some of the existing acrylic therefore my nail would be thick not natural looking. I accidentally dropped a bottle of polish on her rubberized flooring she said you break it it will make a big mess. During the Winter Olympic she said she had no interest in watching so all of her TVs were on other shows. Customers wanted to watch as they received her service, finally she changed the station. One time I offered mints to her and her staff, she objected and said no they can not have any. What a control freak she also said the can only play Candy Crush on their phones/ipads. Every time I left there I was very stressed and would go home complaining. My husband told me not to return but I did not listen. My last encounter left me in tears. My polish had dust in it, polish was uneven(she always put something in them when the polish was too thick instead of buying more) sloppy, I had polish on the skin around my nails. I approached the manager in tears as she played her game on her phone showing her the terrible job her clinician did. She did not have the courteous to examine my nails, she did not have her clinician fix the mess, nor did she give me a refund. All she cares about is making money. I would NEVER recommend this salon to enemy.

I haven’t been to this salon in about 5 years and now I remember the reason. However, I was in the mood to try a different salon than my regular one. Not only is the staff not particularly friendly, I was very disappointed by the bubbles found on a few of my nails, as well as some paint on my skin and cuticles. The technician I had barely smoothed out the rough skin on my heels. Also, please ask me if I want to take my rings off before you slather lotion on all over them. Pricing is average, $ 35 for a mani/pedi combo, yet I was also charged $ 5 more for removing the gel polish off my hands, which my regular salon does not charge for. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this nail salon.

I went in 3 weeks ago to get my acrylics done and they came out perfect! And now three weeks later they still look good. Service was fast and friendly and I will definitely be going back.

Aesthetically this place is welcoming and clean. I rather enjoyed going here when I lived in Warwick as it was close and a nice place to get pampered. The quality of the work however was not up to par in my opinion. My acrylics often lifted easily, which in a weird way was a blessing in disguise. I was in a car accident and when my airbag deployed my nails literally flew off my fingers. Had they been done well, I might have torn my real nails, but alas they simply popped off as if they had been taped on!

I visited Nails 21 in the middle of the day, excited to relax and treat myself to a much needed mani pedi. There are 8 manicure stations and the same number of pedicure stations. A mani pedi combo was $ 35, which is average in this state. The selection of nail polishes was 99% opi, and they also have a great gel or shellac selection. I wasn’t pleased by the staff, who weren’t necessarily unfriendly, but by no men’s did they go out of their way to be warm. The back of my massage chair had been taped by duct tape, and the arm rest was incredibly dirty with nail polish. I did not want them to use a razor on my callouses, but was amazed with how little time the woman used a pumice stone. We didn’t even use it on the sides of my feet. Sub par. That’s half the reason one gets a pedicure! My manicure station was a bit dirty as well. As Andrea R. pointed out in her review, the fans are dirty and dusty. My tech bumped my ring finger while he was painting the top coat, and when she started over, she didn’t use a base coat. My nails came out with a few bubbles, and some paint on my cuticles and skin. It looks like I had done it on my own. I will not be returning to this nail salon :(

I’m surprised how many stars this place has… maybe I hit it on an off day? I stopped in here for a last minute manicure(walk-in service) and was a less than impressed with some of the polish. Some appeared to be old — with that separation that happens to polish. One out of the three ladies working seemed very pleasant, but unfortunately she was with a customer(and it wasn’t me!) I wish the small fans they had at the nail station I was seated at had been a little cleaner as there were some lint, could have been wiped down too. Was it filthy? No. Maybe I’m picky but for me these little things make a big difference because it makes me wonder what else aren’t they cleaning? My nail polish did bubble a little bit so I was not extremely happy when I noticed this, as I could have easily done that myself.

It is always great to find yourself with extra time in the middle of the day to get a pedicure. I walked in on a Monday afternoon and there was no wait at all. The polish choices were great and they won me over with having the razor as an option for the pedicure(let’s hope they sterilize very well). The staff is friendly enough and the atmosphere is decent. The chair offers a few massage options and the pedicure was relaxing. You can add your tip directly to the credit card and the prices are reasonable. I look forward to getting another mid day pedicure in the future!

Brow waxing at its best… yes. This business is called«Nails 21», but the woman here performed some serious eyebrow artistry for me. I was in a bind and didn’t have much time. I was attending an event and my eyebrows were a little wild. Not mono-brow, crazy curly. but they needed attention. A little too much to handle with my own tweezing efforts. I then remembered that I saw a woman waxing brows at a nail place where I received a random, average pedi a few months back. Why not? In my opinion, your eyebrows can make or break your eye make-up efforts. While I am light-haired, my eyebrows are lush and full… and my skin is sensitive. Waxing for me before an outing is risky business with the chance of puffy, redness aplenty… what can I say? I am a risk taker. There were no lavender scented pillows or pan flute melodies in my own private treatment room. I actually sat in a chair in the middle of the salon in full view of a couple gals getting their toes tended. Atmosphere? Not so much. But — the results. Wow. She was meticulous with her waxing, plucking and trimming me to eyebrow perfection. Best of all? It was pain free with absolutely no irritation or puffiness. 10 minutes and done? No appointment needed? All for $ 10? Amazing.
