History
Established in 1998.
Award-winning photographer Tom Stio was born in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Indiana for graduate studies in biology, and subsequently founded and ran a laboratory equipment manufacturing company for many years. He sold that company in 1996, and soon fulfilled his life-long goal of becoming a professional photographer.
He began by shooting headshots for Indiana University students and faculty, and became company photographer for several dance companies and music fesivals. Tom also shot a book of food photography entitled «Indiana Cooks!», and exhibited his fine art images in galleries and museums.
In 2006 Tom and his wife moved to Rhode Island. He regularly photographs for Providence Monthly, and has photographed dancers from Spindle City Ballet, Brown University, and Festival Ballet.
His new home studio in Warwick is equipped with up-to-date digital lighting and imaging equipment, where he continues to create distinctive headshots & portfolio images for his customers.
