425 Mass Apartments

Moved here from Mass Court. My rent is about $ 100 less a month and my apartment is BEAUTIFUL and QUIET with REAL appliances. Also — the building isn’t used as a cheap hotel like mass court is! (who knew that was something you had to ask about?)
If I could change anything about the building it would be to maybe add a small fenced-​in area for dogs to run around in without a leash. Otherwise, love this place and am so glad i made the move across the street.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because my windows are filthy and have been for the last 10 months that I’ve lived here, they apparently only get cleaned once every other year. It’s embarrassing to have people over and makes for a dirty/​ugly first impression of the apartment. My apartment would be perfect if the windows were cleaned!

This place is awesome! I had to move since my company transferred me out of the area, but I would move back here in a heartbeat. The building is beautiful and the amenities are always kept up. There’s a rooftop deck which is huge! There’s two concierge desks, one at each building and they are always really friendly and helpful. You can walk to the movies, shopping and great restaurants. The grocery store is an easy walk, but they also deliver to your door. There’s plenty of parking if you have a car, although if you live here you don’t really need it. It was a great experience living here.

I have finally had enough. After nearly two years living at 425 Mass, and yet another FREEZING COLD SHOWER, I am over this place.
Lest they blame DC water for their water issues, I will have you know that we have had these problems since Day 1 of our two year lease. They acknowledged it was something to do with THEIR PIPES and offered us a new apartment. Now, keep in mind they wont hire someone to MOVE US, repaint, etc., just that there was another apartment on another floor. Course, at this point they still kept claiming it would be fixed, but I have submitted dozens of hot water issue maintenance requests over the 1.5 years we have lived here and it’s NEVER FIXED. They have NEVER given rent credits (and yes, we pay water!).
As if hot water issues weren’t enough:
1. Our windows are FILTHY. They claim they clean these every two years but they were filthy when we moved in 1.5 years ago and haven’t cleaned them since. It’s so gross that people actually comment on them.
2. Air vent filters — disgusting, probably moldy, they won’t do anything about them.
3. Takes them sometimes days to clean up nasty messes in common areas.
4. Half the grills on the roof don’t work.
5. Bathrooms are FREEZING practically year round as there are no vents in them! (combine that with cold showers and it’s just amazing).
6. Aside from one or two concierges that care, the rest are obnoxious.
«Jennifer» — please don’t respond to this review. We all know you’re a robot and that you and whoever works at 425 Mass doesn’t care.

We were staying in a vacation rental booked through
. An employee entered our unit unannounced in the middle of the night, scaring our daughter who was on the fold-​out sofa terribly (she is still having nightmares). I told her she should have screamed bloody murder when he came in, but she was too scared and shook under her covers! When we reported it to management the next morning (when our daughter finally told us what happened) the asst. manager said she would talk to all her employees, She then informed us that nobody had entered our apt. They said we were lying! We asked the on-​site general manager to contact us about this, but she never did and actually avoided us for the rest of our stay!
According to other reviews I read, this has happened to others after us – it was even reported to the DC police! Stay away from this place! It is NOT safe or secure!

I have lived here at 425 Mass for over a year, and I absolutely love it. Jada, Kirti, Dwight, and the rest of the team here are truly dedicated to making sure that each resident that lives at the property is taken care of. The property is beautiful, and I absolutely LOVE my apartment! You also cannot beat the location! Being right in Downtown DC, I feel like I am at the center of it all!
Anytime there has been an issue, residents are immediately notified, and are given a realistic timeframe on when the issue will be resolved. I understand that these things happen, such as hot water or heating issues, but the fact that it is immediately taken care of is or we are notified when it will be is what’s important to me. The pictures posted below don’t even look to be of this property, as I have never experienced the garage being dirty, rats, mold, etc. I plan on residing here at 425 for many years!

My previous review is inaccurate now that 1) I’ve had the misfortune of living at 425 Mass for eight months, and 2) learned a great deal about Equity Residential overall. My time at 425 Mass has turned out to be the worst rental experience of my life.
* Staff
I’ll begin my review with the 425 staff. For starters, the staff itself usually changes faster than milk expires. The employees they do hire are certainly not the cream of the crop. In my tenure at 425, I’ve found two concierge workers partying loudly with college residents while smoking in the supposedly non-​smoking building, and the overnight concierge generally sleeps at the desk while guests enter/​exit at their leisure. It’s ironic because the concierge is charged with security — including checking guests in and monitoring the front door.
The maintenance workers are led by a supervisor who doesn’t understand why it’s inappropriate, some would even say illegal, to enter residents’ units without cause or notice. After experiencing this problem several times myself, when the man finally walked in on me changing, we called the D.C. police. What did management do? The Leasing Supervisor defended him, saying he told her he announced himself before walking in. Yep. That’s right, 425. I wanted him to see me changing, that’s why I deliberately did not answer the door. By the way, why do resident doors not have privacy locks like everywhere else I’ve ever lived? I wish I’d have noticed that before moving in. Read your lease. The General Manager claims it gives 425 permission to enter ANYTIME if/​when you argue about their entry.
* Mold, Water, Maintenance Problems
Let’s talk about mold, water leaks and my own apartment of ruined belongings. I’m not referring to the harmless mold you might cut off a slice of cheese. I’m talking about the black mold you’ve heard about on the news. The stuff that makes you sick with asthma and allergies and so many other things — that’s what I’ve had growing inside my apartment. It’s been on my heating and cooling system, inside my walls, under my carpet, on my possessions, etc. After personally employing professionals to test and inspect, I’ve lost my belongings (among other things) and lived for months in a hotel. (425 was cited ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₅ by an inspector with DCRA for violations in my unit.)
However, it’s not just me. I’ve talked to neighbors who have plaster falling off from roof leaks, and paint bubbling from flood damage. I’ve seen mold growing behind appliances and noted stories of repeated maintenance issues being ignored. Neighbors speak of water problems throughout the building over a period of years. There’s evidence on Unilocal and other review sites that 425’s mold problem has been around for years. Please don’t move here.
* If You Still Tour
If you still decide to tour 425, look beyond what the Leasing Agent shows you.
Look at all levels of the garage. Notice piles of debris throughout the various levels. Think of the rats that live in there! Note the sewage smell on level four. Consider water problems. Look at the ceiling tiles on level one. Again, think of the water problems. (Watch your head because some of those tiles look like they might burst!) Take note of the large white pipes labeled «sewage» and you’ll see splattering on the nearby walls. That’s additional evidence of sewage/​water problems.
425 was cited ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₅ for these types of violations (by a DCRA government inspector), including rat mounds.
425 Mass’ Owner, Equity Residential (EQR Investments):
Equity Residential gave its shareholders a profit check this year, as they had «extra» funds to share. Really? So, while Equity refused to pay for us to have a place to live when our apartment was contaminated with black mold and the walls were ripped out, they had so much extra profit that they were able to give money away? By the way, they also still charged me rent while I lived in the hotel as well. Do you want them as a landlord?
Lastly —
1. It’s unfair Equity Residential has their dozens (and dozens) of BBB complaints about their individual complexes filed ONLY under one of their headquarter offices in Chicago, versus the individual apartment building names. It makes it much harder for prospective tenants to research properties.
2. Equity has an employee, Jennifer, respond to every reviewer across the US as «Jennifer from that complex, X» in a first person tone as if she works in the complex they’re writing about. In other words, Equity treats Unilocal reviewers in a condescending and misleading way. Go figure!

I’ve lived here since September of 2013. There are pros and cons, of course. Overall, it just seems that once you are in, you are a cash cow.
The best part about the building is the roof top (though it often gets crowded with a very bro-​ish crowd) and the staff who are very nice — whether «concierge» or maintenance. Clean, though sometimes the areas close to the garbage chutes get pretty stinky. Convenient, short walk to Georgetown Law, Judiciary Square, Gallery Place Metro, Chinatown, Convention Center (and its metro stop), Safeway, Walmart, Union Station, many restaurants, etc. I guess I could have just said «location,» but why use one word when you can use 30?
Negatives include the fact that prices change dramatically from month to month (you could find an apartment better than yours or a cheaper price a month after you move), the layouts on the website are not accurate in terms of showing how many windows there are, where balconies are, etc…, and if you are honest about stuff, you will end up paying up the butt while people who end up not worrying about the rules will park for free for a year, take up space without reserving it, etc… People also smoke on the rooftop where the air intake is, so you sometimes get smoke smell in the apartment.
The leasing office is all about the Benjamins and you mean little else apart from that. Every answer is canned and formulaic, much like the responses you see on here from «Jennifer A.» who goes around Unilocal responding on ALL Equity Residential properties. They are not very upfront about things, and the turnover is very high, there have been at least 3 or 4 leasing managers so far in my time here. Fees are up the wazoo, somewhat on par with many places in DC, but also some nickel-​and-​diming.
The apartments are clean. Windows are lacking in many units, despite them advertising floor-​to-​ceiling windows in their floor plans in those available units. Nice appliances. Maintenance comes and usually fixes stuff, although again, seems like they always hedge to make sure that you know nothing is the building’s fault. (Like if you tell them something is wrong with the fridge, then you must have done something to it, or if you tell them water is leaking in the sink, they tell you about how the earth’s rotation causes that.) And they enter without leaving a work order or a note that they have entered.
There are also many people in the area who wait around the garage and enter and park in there for free. You can always see them going in with their cars in the morning, and you can see them entering with the cars in the afternoon after they have finished work, walking down the ramp with the cars. I have complained about this multiple times, but nothing has happened. At least let me know if you have a deal with them, so I don’t feel like the garage is not secure. Speaking of which, garage door has broken multiple times over the past couple of years and they have had to keep it open for an entire weekend or longer than an entire week on one occasion. Management claimed they had security there at the garage entrance 24/​7, but that was simply not true. So much for secure garage parking; it is not.
Office use to accept rent by check, then they decided to stop. It does say in the lease that they don’t, but by virtue of past dealing for an entire year and a half, I say otherwise. Things like that just change on a moment’s notice.
If you go to school in the area or work in the area it is a good place to move into at first, it has nice amenities when they are available and working (hint, internet often goes out, printers never work, gym equipment breaks down), and it does its purpose. I lived here while going to school, it served its purpose, and now it is time to move on. I look on my experience living here fondly, but I had to be honest in reviewing the place.
Oh yeah and one more thing. Though I have never had to pay a late fee, their late fees are ridiculous. You should NEVER ALLOW THEM to make you pay the late fee (preferably just pay ON TIME), it is something like 15% of your rent, which would come up to like $ 350 or something for me. But if something even happened to me and they ever asked me to pay such a late fee, I would force them to take me to landlord and tenant court for it and have them stand in front of a judge and explain themselves, and then watch their lawyer cringe as he gets chewed out about how ridiculous their late fee is. As a matter of fact, Equity Residential has faced lawsuits all over the country about its practices, including late fees. If I ever had to pay a late fee like this, which they claim they cannot refund after it is automatically applied on the sixth day, believe you me I would be the first name in a class action suit.

I came to hang out with a friend who lives in the building. What a great building with an awesome 360 view of DC, Silver Spring, the National Harbor, and Arlington. There are two pools on the rooftop and lots of places to sit and grill. There’s a 24 hour concierge and the building is nice and clean. The large windows are a great feature but instead of blinds they have curtains that pull up. This means people can see clearly into your unit. I don’t know how I feel about that (but then again I don’t have to live there). I don’t know if all the units are the same size, but the one I visited seemed small. The bathroom however was large.
From the rooftop I was able to see other nearby buildings with rooftops and there were a lot of parties going on. I was also able to see new and nearby restaurants. The location and amenities make this place a great place to visit if you know someone in the building.

Great location… but old building. If you live on the lower floors, beware that the top floors flood a lot and thus, it trickles down. I’ve had my carpeted-​closet mold because of the leaks in the building. Also, be sure to know that every year rent will increase close to $ 200/​mo so be prepared for that. The leasing staff has more turnover than any place I’ve seen so that being said, do not expect them to have sympathy on you if you’ve been a good resident and ask them to reconsider your renewal lease… they will basically laugh in your face. This is a good building because of the location except the fact that there’s construction every weekend so if you are ever in a hurry to get somewhere Friday-Sunday.LOL… I am moving 1 BLOCK away… and paying way less money and fees and in a brand new building with no construction traffic in sight… and oh ya, with a rooftop twice the size. So save your money, and keep looking because if you’re going to pay top dollar for a good area, go for the newer buildings.

I lived here for two years. It was a great apartment, however, there were some problems with the building in terms of flood damage and mold that were never addressed. In my room specifically, there was a leak in the ceiling causing mold behind the walls and terrible air quality. It was never fixed and I doubt the management would spend the money to fix it. They looked at the problem several times, but neglected to actually do anything meaningful over a period of several months to fix it.
Overall — Good Price, Great Location, Good Design, Leaks/​Floods and Bad Air Quality.
I don’t fault the staff too much as they were very nice and apologetic. It seems to me that EQR management does not want to spend money to properly maintain and repair their Class A apartment.

Figured I update my review since I’m moving in a couple of weeks. First and the most important reason for my move is the rent. DC, is expensive. I should’ve known better. Now that I’m more familiar with the area and have a car, I don’t really need to be «in the middle of everything.»
I’ve lived at ⁴²⁵⁄₄₀₁ Mass for 4 years in July. Anyone who has ever visited or seen it from a distance could probably tell you it is a wonderful building. Outside of a few mishaps with my washer and dryer and dishwasher, everything about the apartment itself is state of the art. (At least it was when I moved in), but I digress…
The turn around time for 95% of my maintenance request was almost immediate, which was important to me as I am prone to «accidents». It is a dog friendly community (and I think cats, but I’ve never seen one). Parking is expensive, but convenient considering it could be worse in other areas (none come to mind at the moment… New York?). I used both gyms quite often and the other amenities (pool, pool table, etc.) often as well.
The bottom line is, every apartment has its issues. I noticed a couple of people complaining about late fees. I too was a victim. The automatic withdrawal that equity residential has set up for rent work against my favor. I tried to explain the situation, but wasn’t helped in any kind of way. The situation only happened once, and nothing really occurred in terms of money in a negative way since then.
Hopefully if you have read along this far you’ll understand that I loved this building (s), most of the staff, and the accessibility I had to anything I could think of. However, this area isn’t necessarily the only place that provides that. After at least 20 (feels like 100) apartment visits, I found another apartment complex that is as comparable to this specific equity residential property as possible.
Yes I did check other equity residential properties if you were wondering*

We had the worst experience with 425 Mass Apartments when looking for a new place. Truth be told, we had our eyes on the place. My boyfriend and I have been living in the area in other apartments (Mass Court and Yale West). We love the area, and loved the building — primarily the rooftop, which is amazing. We were super excited when a 2BR+D penthouse became available that fit our needs. We had looked at some of the other apartments, where the finishes are nice, but the balconies are dark and small, and the rooms are tiny. The Penthouse was exactly what we wanted, but we were told there were no penthouses we could actually take a look at. After seeing the building, we did decide that despite not actually seeing the apartment or another penthouse, we wanted it. That same day we contacted the leasing office and let them know. This is where everything went sour. Never have we experienced such bad service.
1. The day we went to see the place we wrote them back and told them we wanted it, and wanted to confirm our move-​in date. We never received a response to the email, and though we can show we send it, they claim they never received it.
2. We then wrote them again a few days later to follow up, to which we got a response that we could simply choose the latest move-​in date allowed and then that would be readjusted in the lease. Only now, when we went online to confirm the place, it had increased in rent by a few hundred dollars.
3. We send another email to ask if anything could be done given that we’d told them we wanted the place a week earlier, but never received a response. To this email, we again didn’t hear anything. We then called them and left messages and no one got back to us. In the meantime, rent increased a few hundred dollars more.
4. Frustrated that no one returned our calls or emails we walked in to talk to someone. At our visit, we were given a meager apology and an answer that nothing could be done. We are still interested at this point, but frustrated about the service we have received and that because of their tardiness we now had to pay $ 500 more in rent.
5. The following days we thought everything over, wanted to give it a few days to see if rent may decrease again, and if not, we’d just take it. That weekend another (smaller) penthouse suddenly became available and the other went off the market. We found this odd given we’d always been told they had no penthouses they could show us. However, if a penthouse suddenly become instantly available overnight, it means it is unoccupied, and could at least have been used as a model to show until the new residents moved in. Apparently not at 425 Mass. That said, we went in to look at it, but the rooms were simply too small.
We have now chosen a fantastic apartment at Ashton Judiciary Square where we are getting a lot more square footage for the buck, and not to mention an amazing view of the Capitol and the Washington Monument. From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty (almost), and felt at home. If you want more square footage for your money, and can live without a rooftop. Go for Ashton JS over 425 Mass.

I’ve been here for about 7 months, and I’m extremely happy with my decision to move to 425 Mass. Terese and Melissa in the leasing office were sweet, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout the leasing process. The building (units themselves, rooftop, common areas, lobby, etc.) is beautiful and well-​kept, and you do feel like you’re living in a nice hotel.
I’ve noticed that most of the other residents here are late 20’s to early 30’s (as is the case with most other class-​A buildings in the District), but I’ve had zero noise issues. Everyone is respectful and the sound-​proofing also seems to be very effective.
The initial fees are non-​refundable and do seem a little steep based on experience, but they were completely transparent about them, so I’m sure there’s a good reason they’re not just rolled into your rent. Assuming nothing changes, I’d absolutely renew when the lease ends.

I currently live in a two bedroom, one den, two bathroom apartment with two other people. We’ve lived here for over a year now and just resigned our lease for another year. We chose to live at 425 Mass because it was the only building in the nearby location that had an apartment where the den was large enough to be converted to a third bedroom.
While we’ve enjoyed living at 425 Mass, we have many complaints with the building as a whole, our individual apartment, and the staff. We wouldn’t have resigned our lease if it wasn’t for the location of the building and the size of the den in our apartment. Whenever our friends talk about moving to the Chinatown area, we always tell them to look at places other than 425 Mass so they don’t have to go through the same problems we’ve gone through.
The building is very nice but it’s poorly maintained and isn’t given the proper upkeep it needs. It’s certainly one of the nicer «luxury» buildings in the area but the building isn’t aging well. The gym isn’t big enough and I maintain a membership at a bigger one nearby. The rooftop is definitely the best part of the building. The pools are a lot of fun during the summer.
Our apartment has had many problems since we’ve moved in and not all of them have been fixed. The biggest problem is that the AC has gone out in the summer and the heat has gone out in the winter. When the AC went out it was extremely hot out and it took the building management two weeks to fix the problem in our apartment. They gave us temporary AC units that didn’t properly cool the apartment. It was brutal. The heat has gone out at least six times. A couple of the times it’s gone out for the whole building but the majority of the time it’s gone out in just our apartment. The building staff, particularly the manager Megan Beaman, have given us the brush-​off and they don’t seem to care about getting our heat back on. For a building that claims to be a «luxury» apartment building, you’d think having working heat would be something that comes easy, but apparently it isn’t.
Overall, our biggest complaint has been with the staff. The people at the front desk are either never there, or they let strangers into the building without having them sign in. The leasing office made it extremely hard for us to initially sign our lease when we wanted to, and they were even worse when it came time for us to resign. They insisted on raising our rate even though we’d complained to them about our poor experiences in the building and our apartment, and the fact that other apartment buildings keep opening up in the nearby location. The manager has also been extremely unhelpful and doesn’t seem to care about the residents of the building. Our complaints have gone unanswered and our problems have gone unfixed and she doesn’t seem to care.
The other Unilocal reviews seem to be on point. We read them before we moved in last year. People either love the building or absolutely hate it. We thought we’d love it and that we’d be able to avoid all of the problems that other residents had experienced. We were wrong. It’s possible that you could move here and have a better experience than we’ve had, but you should be aware that it’s possible you’ll have an experience similar to ours.

Their rent is expensive but that is just how DC is apparently. The apartments are gorgeous of course but not everything inside it is perfect. The front desk staff members are friendly and wonderful. The Rooftop is by far the most amazing thing about this place with the grills available, lounge areas, and pool. The lobby is gorgeous too. It is in a great location with the train nearby as well as the highway for the commuter type. For the price of the rent, I think all the features in the apartment should always work regardless. There are many fees for moving in to so beware. If you work for the Federal government, there may be some kind of incentive so don’t forget to ask! Our dryer unit does not stop. I mean literally it will not end the dryer cycle and they have fixed it twice and still does it. The air conditioner goes off and on every minute to two minutes. I wish I knew where the thermometer is located because it turns on and off too quick. I don’t think we will be back based on the lack of consistent maintenance of the unit. You pay a lot and you feel like management doesn’t care. Oh and the vents in the garage let out a lot of dust and you can see the evidence if your car stays overnight. Parking fee is about 225 a month. I will say I have not seen any bugs which is great. Shower drain is loose which is lame given this place isn’t that old.

One year later I renewed my lease here. I toured other apartment buildings before renewing and I have to say there is great value here at 425. The building and the apartment units are beautiful. The rooftop and the gym here are the best you will find for apartments. The 425 team continues to be very responsive and nice to work with. I have had some minor noise issues, and I do think the rent is high but it appears to be in line with the area. The area continues to improve with new restaurants coming to the neighborhood, vida fitness and safeway are walking distance and I love sixth engine across the street. I’m happy to call this home for another year.

Yup… it’s still absurdly terrible. These heroes «running» the place sent out an email out of the blue telling residents one of the four parking decks will be converted to public parking during weekdays. Meanwhile, our monthly parking fee went up! It’s going to be wonderful dealing with the traffic jam getting in and out of this place mornings and evenings. Oh yea, and the loss of one floor of parking.

I’m surprised to read all of the negative reviews. I’ve lived around the country in the bay area, Seattle, and here — and this is by far the best managed luxury apartment complex I’ve seen! The price is actually really reasonable compared to other buildings in the area (much cheaper than U St/​14^th St options for sure). Plus, the amenities on the rooftop are the best I’ve seen in the entire city. I’ve never seen it too crazy up there. I have had trouble with the grills and have often given up planning grilling parties (the igniters just don’t work) — so that’s a frustration, but I’ve always been able to find a nice man with a lighter to save me when I’ve been in a pinch.
I think the staff at the front desk are awesome! Howard is a great guy — and I am happy to be living on the 425 side of the building because he’s fun to chat with after work each day. The maintenance team is INCREDIBLE. I submit my electronic requests at 2pm on a Friday — and find that they are fixed by the time I get home at 5 pm! I love having such an accessible maintenance team to help with anything from a burned out light bulb (hey, these LED bulbs are getting pricier and you don’t have to pay for them in 425 Mass!).
I’m working on renewing my lease right now — and likely upgrading to a larger unit. So I’ll be around for a while!
I’m deducting a star because I live directly below the gym, which is annoying when people make noises with the weights (they shouldn’t have an apartment located here).

I live here now. I moved in a month ago because the apartment itself is beautiful. The location is great, the gym and roof deck are fantastic, parking is ample, there’s a free bicycle storage room. But the leasing office is terrible.
The leasing office forgot to charge me for parking when I moved in. When I realized their mistake, I called them and requested to be billed. They applied the charge to my account, and an additional penalty fee was added because my payment was late! Apparently it was my fault, ME, the one who informed them of their mistake! After multiple conversations and emails with Jessica, I was promised that 425 Mass would remove the bill. The initial time estimate for removal was 1 – 2 days.
It is currently one month later, and the leasing office has not removed the charge. I’ve had multiple conversations with Jessica, and there’s a long documented email trail addressing the problem as well. Jessica’s boss, Adam, has promised to fix this problem, but he has not been able to do so. Jessica and Adam both claim that the issue has been sent to the central finance department and it is «at the highest level». But, even at that high of a priority, the clowns at 425 Mass are not able to fix their mistake.
I’ll come back and update this review throughout the duration of my lease. Hopefully 425 Mass will give me a reason to change my opinion. But for now, I recommend to stay away from this apartment complex; it is run by idiots
UPDATE: Wow, I read some of the other reviews onj this site and the negative ones are dead on. The leasiing office’s only concern is a rent check. As you can see from my review, they don’t care about the money they owe back to the tenants. Additionally, I recommend that you review the flagged responses. It’s my understanding that not only has 425 Mass provided their own fake reviews to bring up their own rating, they’ve worked hard to silence the honestly negative reviews from previous customers.
I think they should spend more time focusing on fixing their problems than covering them up!

This property is where me and hubby have live for the past 10 months and everything was pretty good for the first two months and then the problems all came like it’s raining cats and dogs! They say it never rains, it pours. It’s true for 425 Mass and the office staff.
The front desk staff has talked down to me on a number of occasions, the woman on duty in the day time can be downright rude and snappy. The staff inside the office, especially the property manager are useless. They never answer emails, return calls or anything. You can call someone and be told that they’re busy or out of the office and walk in five minutes later and they are just sitting there checking Facebook.
For the price that they charge the staff should be accommodating and flexible, but they are rigid and very unfriendly.

Because there are so many negative things about this place, it really gets in the way of me saying anything positive. I can just say that when I read the reviews from the other residents I feel their pain. I have also been warned that the office always tries to make false claim against the security deposit when you move out, so be careful!
