A Anytime Movers sent me a quote within an hour after requesting a quote. I needed help getting a couch to Goodwill — and they were able to get to my house the same day! Super friendly, and by far the most economical of all the companies I quieried.

Troy and his son were so wonderful. Although they were late (2 hours) because of a previous job, they didn’t waste any time with me and got the job done in the estimated time (2.5 hours). They took special care of my fragile things (plastic wrapped big items and used furniture pads for my large fragile decorations) and were very thoughtful about the move. Having as big of a truck as they did is not an easy feat and I was super stressed about it. Street permits had been cancelled because of the snow, my back alley was a complete mess because of the snow and my street is quite narrow. But as soon as they arrived, I lost all worry and stress because Troy was so reassuring that he would figure it out.
The pricing was exactly what they quoted me to begin with and completely reasonable considering how many stairs I have!

***The movers arriving late, didn’t affect me much since i had dedicated the whole day to moving and it gave me some extra time to clean and get everything completely ready. However, I can see how the delay could affect others negatively. I did have to call at 3 (I was scheduled at 2) to prompt them to give me a new ETA.

If I could give 10 stars to Anytime Movers, I would. I have used them four times (I used to move ever year — an annual pilgrimage, so to speak), and have had nothing but fantastic experiences every single time. They are quick, friendly, cheap, and I’ve literally had nothing broken in any of the moves. Not only that, but they roll with the punches. All my moves came with some sort of challenge, and there has never been a complaint, bur rather, «No problem at all!»
I have recommended Anytime Movers to any of my friends or coworkers that told me they were moving. My parents just moved — and had A LOT of stuff — and used Anytime Movers, at my insistence, and agree with me: if you are moving, you MUST use Anytime Movers! You won’t regret it! I love my apartment and have been here close to five years, breaking my yearly move policy, but I almost want to move again, just so I can use this moving company that is a joy to work with.

Highly recommend. Our move was seamless and the movers were not only good (i.e. easy to set up, on time, no damage) but they were also really friendly, which was great when dealing with the stress of a move.

Don’t look anywhere else, if they have your date open just book with them. You won’t regret it and they wrap everything amazingly.

I don’t want to move again but when I do, I know exactly who I will call… Anytime Movers ARE THE BEST! I called 5 – 6 moving companies to get quotes and rates. They were the cheapest and the most flexible. They arrived early to start the move. They wrapped all my items and worked swiftly and efficiently. When I got to my new apartment, the elevator close to my unit was broken. Thus, the movers had to use an elevator further away to unload and bring my items. The movers did not complain or say a word about having to carry the items to an elevator that was further away. The continued to work with smiles on their faces. The next day Chris, the manager, came over to make sure the move had gone well.
I never do reviews (bc I tend to ramble as you can tell haha) but I made an exception for these guys because I truly want people to use their services.

I needed a packing and moving service on short notice (my original choice had to cancel before the storm, and I needed to be out of my apartment by the end of the month). After submitting an online request at about 730 PM on Tuesday night, I received a call about an hour later from Chris, who talked through the logistics of my move and scheduled a team to execute the move on Thursday afternoon.
Throughout the day on Thursday, the team at Anytime was extremely communicative (I was the afternoon move; they kept me updated on progress on their morning job so I’d know exactly when they’d arrive). My team was Chano, DJ, and Tim — from the moment they arrived they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful, and immediately got to WORK. They had to work around me (I had to be on call for my job), but asked questions about how I wanted certain items packed, if I wanted pieces of furniture disassembled, etc. They guys couldn’t have been more efficient or thorough.
After the packing was complete, the team quickly loaded their truck and drove to a local storage facility. If I thought they’d been efficient packing up the apartment, they were even more impressive getting everything out of the truck and packing my storage unit amazingly well («Like a Game of Tetris!» — Tim). Finally, they brought a few remaining boxes back to my new apartment.
Overall, could not have been happier with the experience. The customer service, led by Chris, was amazing, and the movers were absolute PROs. Couldn’t recommend Anytime movers more highly. Use these guys!

My third move within DC and my first time hiring movers. I was moving from a row house near the Navy Yard area of DC up near Bethesda into a condo building. I reached out to a few companies friends and co-​workers had recommended, and chose Anytime Movers!
The movers were a little late in the morning of move day, but it was nice that they called me letting me know they were running a few minutes behind, and then called again when they had arrived. I do not own a lot of furniture (basic bedroom stuff and a few boxes) so they were able to move my stuff out within about 30 minutes. They wrapped my dresser and were careful with my bed and desk.
Once at my new place, the new building had a lot of load in rules that the movers complied with (they said they had dealt with it before). The movers moved everything in within about 30 minutes as well, and they were very pleasant — even when I was stressing about keys and other things unrelated to the move (haha).
After unpacking everything, I did not find anything broken or damaged — but I did carefully pack and wrap fragile things in a ton of bubble wrap. I think the key to hiring movers is to be super organized and make sure you pack things appropriately. I should also note that I used my parents van to move my more valuable and fragile items myself (TV, etc.).
I would definitely recommend Anytime Movers. I am super appreciative of all their help!

My husband and I moved from a 1 bedroom apartment in Arlington, VA to a 3 bedroom townhouse in Severn, MD this weekend. We’ve previously used another moving company but their quote came out way higher than others so we decided to use Anytime Movers. We are quite disappointed in our decision.
Our movers arrived a few minutes late which wasn’t the end of the world. However, I was less than pleased when they all arrived and introduced themselves and the one known as «Big Troy» had a hat on covered in marijuana leaves. Not only that but they reeked of marijuana. At first I thought maybe I was imagining it since I saw the leaves on Big Troy’s hat but my husband quickly confirmed I wasn’t imagining the odor.
I realize that marijuana is legal in DC but in my opinion if you’re working in a service industry and trying to conduct yourself in a somewhat professional manner wearing or smelling like marijuana is not the proper way to conduct yourself. Especially if we’re about to pay and tip you more than $ 800.
We seriously considered whether or not we should go through with having them do the move but at that point we had no other options. We had to be out of our apartment that day and it was too late to get another moving team. I was still a bit hesitant to let them continue on with the move since I knew they would be carrying all of our fragile belongings and then driving 40+ miles to move them again. But we let them continue and they moved everything into the van without incident. They seemed to take special precaution and were very nice while helping to wrap everything up.
Upon arriving to our new townhouse they unloaded our furniture reasonably fast. Since they did have to walk up multiple flights of stairs and it drizzled in the morning we gave them more than a $ 100 tip. Later that evening after unpacking we realized that our brand-​new walls are significantly dented and scuffed where our furniture and boxes were brought up the stairs.
While we didn’t expect the move to go flawless I don’t think we planned on worrying about our movers being high or having to repaint or patch our walls either.
***Update: Within an hour or so of posting this review Anytime emailed me with an apology and provided a phone number to call about our experience. My husband called and talked to Chris who repeatedly apologized for the issues we had this weekend with our move. He insisted they only hire professionals and these are not experiences he wants customers to be having. Chris was kind enough to offer to come patch and repaint the dings in our walls and fully refunded our move. I thought it was beyond nice of him to do both of these things for us! ***

I have no complaints about my experience with Anytime Movers! The lead mover, Chano, came to inspect my belongings a few hours before the move to confirm which size truck we needed. This was very helpful as it also allowed him to get a sense of loading situation. He and two other movers showed up right on time and loaded our belongings in record time. We drove to NJ the next morning and the truck made excellent timing. They unloaded so fast and put everything where it belonged. It was the smoothest move ever and their prices were extremely competitive. I would definitely use them again!

This was my first time using a moving service. I was quite pleased with the service. The movers were very professional, AND fast!

I had a last minute (RE– same day!) request due to a mix-​up with my storage rental company.
Anytime Movers was the only company I called that was able to accommodate my request. They had two gentleman come by who got the job done in only 45 minutes! Super speedy service and they were able to pack stuff into my small storage unit. (I was admittedly worried it wouldn’t all fit!)
They were super fast, super professional, and did an awesome job. A total godsend in the short timeline!
Would recommend them to the highest degree.

First time using a moving company. I was beyond terrified of cost and stress… which is basically cost again.
I researched a few companies and emailed each about moving from a 1-​bedroom in Minnesota Ave (:[[[[[) to a 1-​bedroom in Cleveland Park (:]]]]]). Anytime Movers was, by far, the best price of all; they also were extremely responsive and clear via email. They had an hourly rate of $ 130 and charged $ 2/​mile to the new place, which was basically nothing. I booked a 9:30 am spot and, come moving day, they were outside my building at 9:31 am. Three young guys came with a 16 foot truck and packed up everything. They were amicable, confident, and most importantly, fast. I’ve one of those IKEA bed frames that’s all big and boxy and they took it apart and wrapped it up like nothing. Loading took 1.5 hours. In another 2, they were done at my new place. So 3.5 hours and my move was less than $ 500, then a tip. And let me just say, the dedication they had to getting my couch into my new building’s small elevator was truly admirable, so I *wanted* to tip (you know, you always have to, but it’s rare that you *want* to). One side note, though: tell some of the guys to maaaaybe not be so interested in the women around and more interested in the task at hand. I didn’t mind! I just know some people would/​could mind.
The following day, the company contacted me to ask about the move and I expressed that some of the stuff had been slightly damaged/​nicked. And guess what?! They CREDITED my card for the amount. *Scanners head explosion* You get so accustomed to bad service that a stellar company like this is incredulous. I’ll definitely use them again for any moves in future. Thank you so much, Anytime.

I moved two blocks recently… two blocks. The team from Anytime showed up at 9am on the dot and I was sending them on their way by 12:30. My entire 1-​bedroom apartment was loaded and unloaded by lunch time. The move itself might have been small, but there were long hallways and tight turns, and at one point, some larger furniture had to go down the stairs, not the elevator.
The guys were polite and efficient — exactly what I needed. What is normally a very stressful experience was made so much easier.

I work for a small nonprofit organization in Washington, DC, Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. And we had a tight turn around for a November move. I found Anytime Movers online and was amazingly surprised at their professionalism, speed, and efficient manner in moving my organization’ two room office. They were great at solving issues and had patience with my move. I truly appreciated this company and continue to refer them. I recently used Anytime Movers, and it was my first time using a moving company. Based on past moves, I didn’t want to deal with waiting on family members or friends with a pickup truck because that can be a disaster and not very organized.
I am very glad that I used this company. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I don’t have one complaint. They will arrive on time, and be very accommodating.

Using A Anytime Movers was an excellent decision!
Kevin, Jameal (spelling?), and Denzel were efficient, friendly, and careful with all of my wife and my belongings.
Moving can be very expensive and I was concerned paying by the hour that the move could drag on and wind up costing WAY more than expected. BUT they were crazy fast moving everything out of our storage unit, across town, and then into our new place in 2.5 hours.
On top of the great experience with the movers themselves working with others who coordinated the move everyone was very helpful.
I highly recommend A Anytime Movers if you’re moving in the DMV area.

I recently used A Anytime Movers when I relocated from DC to Prince Williams County in northern Virginia. Although they were scheduled to come to my house between 2−4PM, they couldn’t make it because a previous job took much longer than had anticipated. I called the manager and was able to work something out for later in the evening. The three-​men crew came over at around 7PM and we had everything packed and delivered in 2.5 hours. They worked hard and were very fast and efficient! Overall, the communication was very smooth, they were very professional/​responsible, and had a very competitive rate! I highly recommend this company! I would definitely use them again!

Could not be any happier with the job our movers did. I had an an afternoon move scheduled with a 2−4pm arrival window. I got the call that they were at the loading dock and ready to go and 2:10pm. The 3 men were incredibly courteous and efficient. They took great care with my furniture — they wrapped everything with blankets or shrink wrap.
I moved to a basement apartment and I was worried about the tight corners and marking up the walls to get furniture downstairs. I don’t know how they did it, but everything (except my queen-​sized box spring — and not due to their lack of trying several different angles to make it work!) made it down without any damage to the walls.
My 1-​bedroom apartment move was completed in 5 hours. Compared to other moving company’s rates, the quote from Anytime Movers was by far the most competitive. They charged a flat rate of $ 30 or $ 35 (can’t remember) because the move involved stairs and the mileage rate was $ 2/​mile for the distance between my apartment and the new place. They did not charge for their travel miles to my apartment.
This company was recommended to me by 2 friends who had a positive experience, and I will certainly be recommending to them to others!
