I don’t know why I was so excited by this store. I get excited thinking about the tacky presidential themed shirts. The tacky Obama Bobbleheads. The fake copy of the Bill of Rights. Everything. I need everything!!!
Super overpriced and a tourist trap, America! is your one stop shop to spend a lot of money on dollar store items with the presidential stamp sealed on it. Hey, if Obama approves of it, then it must be worthy.
My 2 other political junkies and I were laughing the entire time in this store. The cashier clerk looked tired and probably wished she could shoot every time a tourist shouts «HAHA look! plastic FBI glasses that allow you to see things behind you… OHHH!!!» *smack!*
I ended up buying a $ 6 shot glass, with the most ridiculous plastic model of the Capitol Building. Now, everytime I take a shot, I can go «FOR AMERICA!»
I also bought presidential french cuffs… because. why the hell not? If you’re gonna look classy with cuffs, nothing says classier than ones stamped with the presidential seal on it.
As Obama would say, ‘not bad’
My friend bought the 10 in long shot glass and another one bought a ‘Bo’ stuffed dog plushie.
We left smiling like idiots. America! truly showcases the beauty of this country, and our love to spend, spend, spend.
