Like it or not, love them or hate them, does not matter what matters is that they are there and they are there for you. Now I don’t agree with everything that they stand up for matter of fact me and them are many times on the opposite side of the tracks. However one thing is certain if you feel as though you have been wrong based on your rights as a citizen these are the ones to go and make your case with. Be for warned though that this building can be a little hard to find because it is narrow for a downtown building. Also know that security does not play around with you. Their doors are locked if you come a knock’n you had better be on the list cause you ain’t getting in just to have a look around see.
All politics aside now this is a great place to have a small meeting. If you do have a appointment then they will direct you to the smallest elevator legally allowed in a structure. Really your shoulders will almost touch both walls when standing in the middle. The building it self is quite beautifully laid out utilizing many light coloured woods and bamboo. Brushed metallic pieces accentuate all natural wood surfaces. Furniture is sleek and modern somewhat minimalistic approach which is somehow fitting for this organization.
There are a couple of different conference rooms available for hire. Each one has suitable audio and visual equipment there for full presentations. Both rooms should accommodate about 50 or more people depending upon seating and table configuration. The views out the windows does not disappoint at all. Usually catering is kept to a minimal they get Cosi most times to provide lunch for meeting attendees. One conference room has a kitchen area but just a small fridge, microwave oven, sink, coffee maker etc. The other does not or non that I have yet to see. They do have video conferencing capabilities in both rooms. So for those individuals out there regardless of social, political, economic or whatever point of view you have if you need a small space to have your next conference you just might want to give them a call. It does however help if your company or organization has some type of human rights interest as it’s main theme.
