Dr. Agrawal is a thorough, highly-skilled diagnostician. She has been my doctor for over 5 years and I get excellent care. She(correctly) suspected a thyroid nodule just by looking at my neck — and I couldn’t see a thing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My husband and son see other doctors in the office and have been extremely satisfied as well. The front desk staff is great, too! I recommend this practice without reservation.

Well, here I am on hold yet again trying to correct the appointment, billing and insurance mistakes made by Dr Agrawal’s office, so I thought I would share my experience. First, I was billed as a no-show for an appointment that I had moved/rescheduled at least five days before. That took about three hours of my time to clear up because every time I called the accountant was not at work. She works part time and very limited hours. Next I received a form from my insurance company(with my incorrect birth date) asking me for information about my secondary insurance provider. I have never had secondary insurance, so I corrected the form and sent it back. Yet, I still received a $ 230 bill from Lab Corp stating that the insurance company would not cover the labs because I apparent had secondary insurance. So now, after two hours on the phone with insurance and Lab Corp, things will be reprocessed sometime within the next month. For all of this… the blood was drawn in office in early December 2013! I didn’t receive any lab results from the doctor for a month. Dr Agrawal may be competent, but both visits were very rushed. She is not very good at listening — actually talking over me when I was trying to share information about symptoms and being very dismissive of a serious swallowing problem. The above issues with the office staff were enough to send me looking for another primary care physician, and I am very happy with the one I found.
