So I checked out this place last week after my friend told me that it just opened. Kind of weird décor with this big Kramer painting when you walk in but hey I’m only here for the beer.
Decent beer list, more of a mixed drink place with an emphasis on manhattans and other gnarly drinks. As an avid Unilocaler, I’ve seen my fair share of pubs, dive bars and row house tap houses, and this one has potential to win the DC district tap house trophy.
Usually it’s a bring your own food kind of bar, but sometimes on Wednesday this drunk bartender makes Pad Thai.
Get the pepper butter cracker spread — it’s the best.

This place is awesome… really cool setup with a nice back patio area for drinking with friends… they even have a fire-​pit and tiki torches!
Lots of beer on tap, but I really like the whiskey selection… Ben makes a mean jalapeño old-​fashioned.
Tapas are great, you’ve gotta try the buffalo bites or the fried wontons!
