Bloomingdale DC Carpet Cleaners

Can we say miracle workers? I was moving to another condo and needed carpets cleaned so I could get back my deposit. I asked a co-​worker if they knew of anybody PROFESSIONAL, and REASONABLY priced. She said: Bloomingdale Carpet Cleaners. I gave them a call and had my carpets cleaned so well that I almost wanted to stay in my old spot again! LOL! I highly recommend Bloomingdale’s for a quick response and great service!

These guys are great! I was moving to another place and I had to get my apartments carpets cleaned. I did’t want to get charged an absurd amount by the landlord for dirty carpets so I called these guys after I did some of my own research. Very professional and friendly. Now I had some very dark marks on the carpets especially by the entry door way. They made the carpet look almost new after they were finished! I will definitely use them again.

Every employee I talked to on the phone and in person was nice and helped me quickly. They did the job for a good price, and I’m happy I used them for the job. If you want the job done well on time, I’d recommend these guys.

Not too shabby. I was referred to DC Carpet by real estste investors in the metro DC area for an investment managed by an acquaintance. Their service was adequate and the price was just right. Not much can be said about carpet cleaning except that you get what you pay for. Will be recommending to others.

I had to get my apartment cleaned after graduating college. Bloomingdale DC Carpet Cleaners did an amazing job making the carpets look like they were brand new! You would never have been able to tell that four 20 year old had been living in the apartment for the past year!

I visited DC on a trip for two weeks and one of my friends owned some property there. I’d had a blast visiting memorials and museums and I’d brought back a whole bunch of sodas and stuff to a room. I accidentally knocked over one of the liter bottles, so I tried to clean it up however I was only making things way worse and spreading out the mess.
Called these carpet cleaners, told them my situation, and they were very understanding. The rug was a really nice one so they were very careful when they cleaned it. They also have a voucher available on this site right now that I was able to use, which is great because I didn’t want to pay a million dollars for only a couple of spills in a tiny room. The price was very fair for the little bit of work I needed done and as a bonus my friend’s really happy with a clean looking carpet.
Everybody won! I suggest anyone in the DC area at least give these carpet cleaners a chance as they’re efficient, not too expensive, and they do the job right. They work very quickly which made me happy because I didn’t have all day.

During my Summer break, I decided to visit my cousin who works in Washington, DC. While there, I decided to do my best to continue to eat like I normally would. While doing so, I offered her some of my freshly made vegetable juice. As she walked towards the living room to reach for the glass, it toppled over and spilled onto her beige colored carpet. I attempted to assist her in cleaning it up, using baking soda, liquid cleaners, and just water and washcloth. None of that worked.
After staring at the faintly removed vegetable juice stain on her carpet, I decided to find another way to restore the carpet to its original condition. I searched online for a nearby business that specialized in carpet cleaning. Bloomingdale Carpet Cleaners seemed like a worthy investment, so I contacted them. There were other areas in her house that could use a through cleansing (like the hallways), so it seemed like an opportune time for a professional carpet cleaning.
The cleaners were helpful and did a thorough job in my cousin’s living room (where the vegetable juice tragedy happened) and her previously soiled hallway. It’s amazing what cleaned carpets can do for a place.

I REALLY wanted to give these guys 5 stars, or at least 4. But I just can’t justify it. Everyone I dealt with was super nice, both in person and on the phone, but they were too hard to get a hold of and rely on.
Right off the bat, it took me about 2 days of calling and submitting a request through their site; and don’t bother going to the address, it doesn’t exist). But I stuck with it, because of their ratings on here. Apparently they were having issues with the web submission, but no explanation on the issues with answering the phone.
After the cleaning, the drop off was a huge hassle, too. They never showed up on the scheduled day (a mistake in their scheduling system, apparently), and on the rescheduled day, they arrived over an hour and a half after the «be there in 15» notice call. This despite three check-​in calls to figure out the status, two of which went to voicemail after no answer, and the other in which I was promised an immediate call-​back.
For the record, it seems like this (and possibly other area) carpet cleaning company is actually just a franchise or something for Green Carpet Cleaning, who you actually interact with. The main guy told me as much at the pick-​up, when he said they clean for most of the companies in the area. So I’m not sure that this company is the problem, since most customers have a great experience. And they did a great job cleaning the rugs! Not quite back to new, but pretty darn good considering. The logistical hassles were just too much to justify a better rating or repeat business. I’ll be going elsewhere next time.

I hired Bloomingdale to come out to clean my carpets and sofas. I was nothing short of impressed. My sofas were left very clean, smelling fresh and looking almost brand new again. The team also did a great job on my carpet throughout my home as well. They did 3 bedrooms, my living room & dining room. They took their time and treated my home with good care. The team answered all of my questions and assured that I wouldn’t have any problems. I will be using Bloomingdale’s services again. I have already recommended them to my mom and sister as well.

Did a great job cleaning my 8×10 wool area rug — looks like new!

I flew down to help my sister who sold her house way faster than expected and her carpets were trashed. Not a single room had carpet that wasn’t stained. I was very pleased with the company as a whole and the service. Prompt, courteous, answered my questions knowledgeably and without hesitation. Very fast turn time, they were able to come out within 24 hours. I was very impressed with how well the soiled stains came up. The high traffic areas (dining room and stairs) were also spotless once they were done. I wish they had a location in my area!

I recently contacted Bloomingdale DC Carpet Cleaners online to find out how much it would be to have my apartment carpets cleaned before I moved out. I was really surprised how quickly I received a response as other companies I contacted either didn’t respond at all or needed to come look at the apartment to give me a quote. I was able to get a very affordable quote and even got a discount using one of the online coupons! I set up to have my carpets cleaned before my move out date and I was very happy with the outcome. They were very professional and best of all, I got my deposit back from the apartment complex because all of the stains came out of the carpets. Will use again! Thanks.

We had them come to clean the basement carpet in our new house because we didn’t know what conditions it had been subjected to. The technician asked how we wanted to use the space and pointed out some minor water damage, and then gave us all the cleaning options and prices. We went with the full deep shampoo and mold treatment just in case, which wasn’t cheap, but this is the first time I’ve had carpet cleaned in DC, so I’m not sure how the price compares with other local places. Anyhow, the results were fabulous! The carpet looked great when she finished and she showed us the dirty cleaning fluid that the machine captured — you would not believe the grossness that came out of that carpet! I’m so happy to really know that the carpet is clean now and I plan to use them again in the future to make sure it stays that way.

These guys also use organic cleaning solutions and that is very important to us as we have 3 kids in the house.
