Big shout out to the dope staff at Capital Vape Supply! My vapor pen broke late at night, Capital Vape was still open until midnight! I was very impressed with the supplies they held, but did not bring enough money. The staff took care of me and gave me a free vapor pen to try!!! I came all the way across the nation from Spokane, WA and I will definitely be back to this Vape Shop! Love you guys, keep doin what you do!

Despite the lack of head shops in the DMV, you should avoid this one because the owner and his staff will say anything to make a sale. Notwithstanding the fact that two separate sales associates guaranteed that I could return the product – the first for a refund and then the second later contradicting the first but promising the product could be exchanged for another product – the owner refused to owner either offer, claiming that the associates do not have the authority to make such guarantees. After insisting that the sales agents act as agents for the owner and the store, and the owner should honor those promises/​guarantees, the owner then changed his position, this time insisting that I must have heard both sales associates wrong.

These guys are great! So friendly and helping me get into the vaping scene w advice and supplies. This place is great!

Sold me their house juice line. I bought two 30mls. So unfortunate. They wouldn’t take the second unopened 30 ml back after I told them I hated the flavor, and that they added too much nicotine at point of sale. I asked for .3 this feels higher than 6. Staff had me waiting 30 minutes to buy juice while he set up a friends vape for him. I could go on and on about the lack of this being run like a normal business but I’ll just end it here. Go to Capitol hemp for your vape needs. Much more professional.

This is the best vape shop in the DMV area… and it really isn’t close (having been to many others). They have the most helpful and knowledgeable staff I have had the pleasure to meet and they will always get you the perfect setup no matter your price point. Their juice line is amazing — with tons of flavors — but they also have a large selection of the most popular e-​juice on the market. I won’t go anywhere or shop online any longer, proud to support my local brick and mortar. #shoplocal

The staff are not jerks, and they have a legitimate love for their work/​products. I felt very comfortable asking them about vaping and my experience with it. They’re just chill about everything.

I recently relocated to the DMV area from California, where the vape scene is much bigger and you can find a shop on practically every corner. Needless to say, I was hesitant about what my options would be in this area.
Thanks to Unilocal I found Capital Vape Supply, which is not the nearest shop to me but worth the drive. I’m picky when it comes to juice and typically go to multiple shops for the labels I like, but when it comes to having work done on my actual vape I like to stick to one staff that I trust.
My first few visits were due to problems with a tank I hadn’t even purchased from them. Every time they would fix it within a matter of minutes, no charge.
They use mechanical mods as opposed to pens for their juice testers, which is a huge plus because you get a much stronger and more accurate taste.
After losing my vape altogether last month, I came in for help selecting a new one. The staff patiently assisted me for well over an hour as I asked a hundred questions and went over pros and cons.
I’ve gone through a variety of mods over the past 2 years, and typically a shop will upsell me on something that ends up being problematic after a week, requiring a lot of maintenance and more money. I upgraded to my first electronic box mod at Capital Vape Supply, have had it for almost a month now and am still as satisfied as the day I bought it. In my experience you get what you pay for when it comes to vapes, but the price was shockingly reasonable at under $ 100 and I can say the $ 300 mods I’ve had in the past were by far more temperamental.
I was also pleased to find they carry many different tanks, whereas most shops carry 1 or 2 that only take a certain coil. I bought my first top fill tank with them, about a week later I dropped and shattered it, and even though they had no obligation to replace it for me they did.
The staff is always super helpful and professional. It’s nice to have found a shop with seasoned employees who know what they’re doing!

Had some of their in house juices and they were terrible. Flavors were poorly put together. Throat was hurting and reacting badly after just a day of use and got worse with continued use. On top of it all, I didn’t feel any nicotine despite a claimed 3mg rating. Makes me wonder what they are selling and if it has passed any tests for human consumption at all. I doubt it.

Fantastic AND huge selection of juices — all for a great price! Their Fritter and Strawberry Icing juices are my two favorite in-​house juices so far.
The two dudes who own the shop are really helpful too. Yesterday one of the owners gave me a FREE rebuildable rba deck, for the kanger subtank mini, which he had laying around so I wouldn’t have to purchase the whole subtank when all I needed was the wall for the rba deck (I bent mine when I was trying to unscrew the wall with a pair of needle nose pliers).
Great staff, low low prices, and huge selection of juices and hardware… wouldn’t go anywhere else in the District.

Actually can’t get over how amazing the staff were when my vape broke. Customer service on fleek. Will definitely be back. Did I mention they’re open till 4am? How cool is that? You’re vape dies while you’re out at the bars and they’re there for you. Awesome.

This is definitely the best vape store I’ve ever been to! Very knowledgable and friendly staff! I will definitely be coming back here in the future. They have a wide variety of juice and they have invested in Atlantis Aspire tanks for all of their testers. I hope they open another shop in northern va because they will definitely put a lot of other vape stores out of business:) thanks for a great experience and an awesome coil build!

Awesome selection and set up. Super close to the metro which is awesome if you don’t drive. Definitely would recommend for anyone into vaping.

As a healthcare provider I much rather see my patients off cigarettes, obviously. Not all vape shops are created equally, however. Some of these establishments will push high nicotine levels to hook patrons and keep them coming back for a «high.» Geoffrey is a very honest, ethical and caring person that wants to see everyone off cigarettes helping people to transition to lower nicotine levels and eventually to zero. Not everyone shares this same philosophy. If you’re looking to get off cigarettes and want help Capital Vape Supply is the place to go. Locally owned and operated, these guys are the real deal and know how to show up for their customers.

Definitely best vape shop I’ve been to in the city. Convenient, literally across the street from metro. Friendly staff offering personalized help and honest suggestions. By far best selection of juices too! And to try them all out they use the Atlantic tanks so I was really able to taste all the flavored nuances and make my choices on what to by. This is my only choice now for getting my juices and supplies in DC from now on!

This new business just opened on U Street. Friendly staff helps you venture into the world of vaping, and I’m not sure if that is good or bad, but it’s always fun to try something new.
This place has a distinct West Coast vibe, from the accents of the staff to the casualness of the atmosphere. A good place to try it out — they will let you sample a few flavors before you commit, the soundtrack is welcoming, and you can leave your mark on the chalk board before you leave. I definitely recommend it if you are curious.
