I hate to jump on the bad review bandwagon, and I certainly hate to post a bad review, but this place was not very good, and there was the distinct aftertaste of monosodium glutatmate served with the meal. We were hungry after just arriving by train, and my wife wanted something to eat, but couldn’t make up here mind. So, we just stopped in here. It was a good value, and not really too bad, but it just didn’t really cut it, and I felt kind of ill afterward. I really feel sorry for these folks because they were so nice, and so eager to help us, but they are located way off in the corner where they are not easily found, and where not much foot traffic goes, and their product is pedestrian at best. They would do better in a better location, but people have to walk by a lot of better choices to get there, and are likely to take those instead. I wish we had.

Wow, whats with all the bad reviews? I ordered the Singapore noodles. As mentioned by a previous Unilocaler, they were good. They were actually soft and not overly dried(like some noodles I’ve had from other establishments). I also opted for two sides: vegetables and chicken and mushroom. I wanted to get the orange chicken but thought it would be too heavy since most places that serve orange chicken is covered in heavy batter(like Panda Express). I enjoyed my meal and many people walking past our table looked at my food and asked where we had gotten the food from. The stand is located on the less popular side of the food court. The food court area is actually lined with food establishments on both sides. Good luck finding a table to eat at though. There is usually so many people from school field trips here! FYI, this place requires a minimum $ 10 purchase to use a credit card.

My rating is generous. Located in Union Station, I was not expecting a meal I would write home about but a meal I would enjoy and not regret shortly after paying for it. The Singapore Noodles were good but the chicken sides were questionable at best and did not have much flavor. A very disappointing experience. Try one of the many other places in Union Station!

Coming down to union station’s food court is like a trip down memory lane. all those good high school years where you thought u were so cool going to the«malls» and eating at the«food court»… well i was feeling REALLY nostalgic so I wanted the bourbon chicken. I’ve never had that experience gone wrong, how hard is it to mimic the sweet yet salty small cuts of mystery chicken meat mixed with some good rice and veggies. well. china kitchen made me glad i am no longer in HS and am a grown ass adult that need to avoid their crap food if i want to live past my 30s!!! the food is at best — greasy, non flavorful, they didn’t even have sauteed vegetables!!! one meat two sides are around $ 7, but totally not worth all the oil and bad food sitting there. go to sakura instead, their chicken terriaki has much better flavor and isn’t swimming in a bath of oil.

The food is nothing special, ok. However the portions they give you is ridiculous. The so called«Side» takes up most of the box, with the two little spots left for entrée. I had the tofu and the twice cooked pork, except I got 3 pieces of pork and the rest cabbages. If you are going to give me such a small entrée portion, at least give me more meat! Overall it is a rip off. Don’t bother with this place. The pork wasn’t anything special, especially for only 3 small tiny pieces of it.

China Kitchen is located in the Union Station food court. The arrangement reminds one of Panda Express, but I have to say Panda Express is much better. A combination special is offered. I selected Chicken with Broccoli and Hunan Pork with noodles. Fried Rice was also included. The portion was of a good size, but I found the food tasteless. I would try another counter when dining next at Union Station.

the newest addition to union station food court, in the same vein as panda express. had the spicy tofu(pictured) with singapore noodles and some shrimp. Came to 10 bucks with a drink(shrimp is a buck extra). the tofu was tasty, the shrimp was so-so. wouldnt go out of my way to visit again, but if you are in union station and craving some chinese, this is a safe bet — better than the other chinese joint a couple booths over.
