Meet the Manager

Michael C.

Manager

Chef Michael Cassady moved to DC from California in 2005 and enrolled in Maryland’s L’Academie de Cuisine. After culinary school, Chef Michael worked for Chef Rob Weland at Poste Modern Brasserie and became part of one of the first «farm to table» restaurants in DC. He next worked for Michelin Star Chef’s Tom and Robert Aikens in London at Tom’s Kitchen before returning to the area to join Matchbox restaurants in Rockville as Sous Chef and then Executive Chef.

As Executive Chef of Circle Bistro, Chef Michael continues his support of local and sustainable products and producers while creating outstanding bistro-style cuisine.
