I lived here for two years. Everything was always done to my satisfaction. The desk people were courteous and helpful and friendly and knew most of the residents by name. The location is great if you want or need to be right smack in the middle of Dupont and you are only two blocks from the Q Street entrance to the Dupont Metro. However, you need to adjust your expectations. This building was probably built in the 1960s and there are only so many changes they can make without demolishing the place. Fancy bathrooms? No. Super kitchens with the latest expensive stove and in-home grilling? No. General fabulousity? No. What you see is what you get. A well maintained building that is 40 years old with new kitchens, parquet floors which are original to the building. They only have one bedrooms and studios. I had a one bedroom and found it plenty spacious for one person. Only a few things broke and Remi, the maintenance manager, fixed everything immediately. Damon the manager is onsite and lives in the building as does Remi. I always found Damon very helpful. In fact, I moved to a building owned by the same company and Damon made all that easy. The rent isn’t cheap but you are paying for the location. All in all a very well-run work-a-day apartment house. I enjoyed living there.
