History
Established in 2008.
Two long-time Washington DC residents, chefs Susan Holt and Susan Watterson, had been teaching for many years at the well-regarded culinary arts school L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda Maryland. They realized the need for a city-based cooking school, and spent 3 years planning CulinAerie, located six blocks from the White House and providing an extensive range of interesting topics for the gastronomically inclined residents of the city and its surrounds.
