Terry Chasteen, the organizer of DanceSport at Dupont Circle has been dancing square dance and Country/Westen since childhood and Ballroom, Latin and Swing since an undergrad at Ohio State University in 1969. He has been teaching every style of social dance known to man since 1974.

Considered by some to be a dance fanatic (others claim it’s an obsessive/compulsive disorder). Terry has danced since his 1st undergrad Ballroom class at Ohio State University in 1969. He has taught every style of social dance known to mankind since 1974, including to very large classes of children and to both blind and deaf students and those in wheelchairs.
