I don’t know why this location has such a terrible rating. I am a Dunkin’ Donuts certified expert. Yes, it’s a magnet for ghetto homeless people, but it’s 7th Street. The staff here are very good and have a system that keeps the line moving. I’ve never had a problem with my order and compared to some of the other DD’s in the District, their selection is generally very good throughout the day. My only complaint is that they always run out of cinnamon raisin bagels first. Cinnamon raisin are the best bagels, so they should order more of them. No one likes blueberry bagels(gross, and they always have those left.) Or whole wheat bagels(like getting a diet coke with your cheeseburger.) Just replace both of those with cinnamon raisin and everyone will be happy. Oh and I personally get great joy out of watching tourists desperately run in looking for a bathroom only to find that there«isn’t» a public restroom.

Immediately when I walked in this morning at approximately 6:05 there were two people in front of me, Shavon R the employee was holding her personal cell phone to her ear with her shoulder while attempting to help customers. The conversation was about how chilly it was this morning and she didn’t want to get up to come to work, she’s going to leave in a couple hours and go back home to get in bed. Not only was this unacceptable I had to wait because my order was taken wrong. I asked for number 13 meal she ended up giving me a number 14 meal not to leave out my coffee was not really hot at all. First impressions of a person and a business location is everything. Farewell Dunkin Donuts of 601 F Street Northwest Washington DC.

Yeah, this place is pretty bad. It would get a solid one star if it wasn’t for the random free donuts they give away from time to time… The coffee is horrifically watered down and inconsistent, cups are never fully filled, the staff is tolerant at best, the lines are always REALLY long, the place is always dirty, vagrants are always right outside the door(sometimes inside the door), it’s a total clustered mess, and overall just an unpleasant experience. Again, if it wasn’t for free merchandise, it’s a definite one star. I started going to the 13th& G location and it is totally worth the extra few blocks of walking.

Might be the worst coffee I’ve ever had, not even kidding. Even gas station coffee tastes incredible in comparison. The red velvet donut was the worst fake concoction of red velvet I’ve ever tried. Tasted nothing like red velvet, and might be the worst donut ever. How is it even possible to make a bad tasting donut? Their normal donuts are pretty good though, so I suppose they deserve 1 star. I never understood their slogan«America runs on Dunkin». I run away from this chain, if anything.

Today is NATIONALDONUTDAY! That’s right folks, today June 7th, go to any Dunkin’ Donuts and get your FREEDONUT when you purchase a beverage. This morning I stormed in the office like Ari Gold on Entourage and announced I would be making a trip up to this location to get my free donut. #noshameinmygame Walk in on this rainy morning and there is a line but contained in the store, not bad. Make my way to the register to order a Coffee Coolata(later regretted that decision – sugar overload) and got a free donut of my choosing(Boston Cream yeahhh). The woman at the register was quite flustered and obviously could not handle the volume of people. She called out my order to her coworker who replied«huh?» which prompted her to huff and puff, curse«WTF man» and walk on over to show him how it was done I guess. Another older indian woman came over apologizing and collected my money and turned around to get me my donut herself. I was just in shock! mmm uncomfortable enough to just want my order and gtfo of there. 3 stars for FREE donuts! The staff could have better prepared themselves with a game plan to handle larger volume of customers, the line was a clusterfuck and you’d wait to order and then make your way backwards to collect your drink. Did not work at all. Yea you guys are giving out free stuff but at least have a game plan or pretend you know what you are doing. And for the lady at the register, I feel bad for you but you girlfriend are a prime example of how«there’s no good service in DC.» If you have a shitty attitude, do not work the front of the house dealing with customers, and DONOT chose to work the morning shift. I LOVE Dunkin Donuts but because of your shitty attitude and inability to be a team player, I will not be coming to this location. «America runs on Dunkin’» but not if this employee chick has anything to say about it…

I was hungry one morning and really like Dunkin’s coffee so I thought a quick stop at the store nearest to my office would be a good idea. Nope, it wasn’t. The customer service at this place is horrendous. While the place is overstaffed, it takes a very long time to receive orders. Employees stood around, were not very courteous, and kept asking me to repeat my order. Once I was able to place my order, I received the wrong type of coffee and needed to wait for an employee to finish a conversation with another patron before she started making my sandwich. Maybe I am spoiled with customer service from the midwest but this place could run so much smoother with the right employees. As for my food, it was delicious. I had a bacon egg breakfast wrap and a small coffee. Maybe delivery next time?

I visited the Chinatown, Washington, DC, store last night at 9:45PM(10 minutes before closing). There were at least 100(if not 200) donuts left on the shelves. I asked an employee what you do with the leftovers at night, and she said, «we throw them all away.» I was appalled and asked her if she thought that was okay, and she said, «that’s just what we do.» I realize that donuts are not the«most nutritious» food in the world, but do you know how many people in this country are starving? Why in the world would you not donate your leftovers at the end of the night at EVERY store you have? I can’t believe that a company could be so socially irresponsible. I honestly don’t think I can support a company that does something like this ever again. Make a difference and do something about this. Nationwide.

This is the best DD. I bring my expired DD refill cup about four times a work week and get an iced coffee with cream and sugar for $ 1.09. Anywhere else, I don’t reap those benefits!

Full disclosure: I’ve only been here twice, both times on weekday evenings, but I was short-changed TWICE by the same woman in her 20’s working the register! The first time, I was going to tip her, but not after that. The second time, well let’s put it this way, I’m not going back until she’s GONE, and until there is a more gender-balanced workforce.

Hmmmm donuts I don’t normally eat donuts, but when I do, I prefer Dunkin Donuts! This day I did not order a donut(watching my girlish figure and all), but I did order their iced cappuccino and I will say that it was tasty. I’d prefer a stronger coffee taste, but I think that is just me, and not anything about the particularly drink this day. The donuts did look amazing and there was a large selection, but that doesn’t mean I need to eat a donut. Perhaps another time. like for free! On the receipt there was a coupon for a free donut when you complete their online survey and order a medium or larger beverage. I love free stuff, so I will take advantage of that offer for sure. The visit goes as follows: The drink: Tasty The Value: The total of a small iced cappuccino came to $ 2.85. It’s not bad, it’s not great either. I think the size is bigger than starbuck’s small. The experience: It’s fast food, wait in line kind of deal. There’s only so exciting and wonderful it can get. The line moved fast, and everyone was friendly enough. It is just fast food. Would I return?: I will return to get my free donut! ********** While I didn’t return to get my free donut… Dunkin Donuts also makes a delicious egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit. Oh yeah, I said it. Dunkin Donuts is great! Soft biscuit, melty cheese… hmmmm. You know you wants it! Served all day? Get it! **08/02** This location doesn’t serve biscuits :(FAIL! U Street Dunkin Donuts does though!

DONTGOHERE! My roommate and I asked for a Strawberry Colatta and they gave us a nasty watery red drink that tasted like expired syrup that tasted like garbage. I said hell no so I told them its not suppose to be like that and the guy took my drink and drank it. I was confused but he said he would make another one. After waiting ten minutes we get another watery syrup thing that I refused to drink. I asked for a refund but another lady/manager was like no just give them soda. I was like what, I paid for it you know. So i was like just give us two lemonades and we left. The lemonade tasted like sour garbage. NEVERGOINGBACK!

I love the double D and have patronized Dunkins far and wide. Weirdest service ever at this location. One cashier asked for my order then walked away before I could answer, not to be seen again. I told someone else I wanted a medium coffee and a boston crème donut. I was told, «No! You must get two.» The employee then pointed vaguely at the menu. The customer in front of me then had a long debate about her change with the cashier. On the plus side, 10 minutes later I had what I wanted. 5 stars(DD coffee is the best, and donuts and bagels are pretty good) minus 3 stars(weirdness coming from behind the registers) = 2 stars. Sorry guys.

I would rather wash my face with rusty razor blades than come here again. Things allowed to move slowly: Quadriplegics Glaciers Sloths Billy from TLC’s «The Half Ton Teen» Things not allowed to move slowly: EFFINGCOFFEESHOPEMPLOYEES Since I love Dunkins with all my New England heart, I have given this store three chances. And every time I walked in there was another shit for brains employee behind the register. It’s like talking to a box of rocks. Except this box of rocks has two slower, dumber shit for brains coworkers standing behind him/her looking back at you with no effing clue. Don’t speak English? Fine by me. I don’t judge. But if you work at Dunkin Donuts and can’t comprehend the word«Dunkaccino» then you should probably off yourself. The wait can be so long that I’ve seen people give up and walk out while the three rocket scientists behind the counter try to figure out how to use a toaster and a microwave. They also like to just make up menu items. The girl in front of me ordered a value combo to which they informed her the posted price on the menu was wrong and it didn’t come with coffee. So they charged her more money for less food. Too bad for her she had already given over her credit card because asking for a refund would be like asking them to cure cancer. As for me, I pointed at the ginger bread latte display they had posted on the counter and was told they don’t have it. THENTAKETHEDISPLAYOFFTHECOUNTER. It’s Dunkin Donuts, you know what you’re getting: mediocre donuts and coffee. But, the highlight for me is their plain cream cheese served on their bready bagels. The cream cheese is a revelation and I wish I could buy tubs of this undoubtedly artificial cream cheese that is so delicious and melty on the toasted bagel. They really slather it on also. I appreciate that. This location frequently has long lines in the morning, but they have it down to a science and the line moves quickly. The better to get me that cream cheese quickly when I need a fix.

I am so disappointed with the Dunkin Donuts in DC. This makes my neighborhood Dunkin’s soooooooooo nice(and its only okay!) I ordered two medium coffees. It was prepared quickly. It was the payment of the coffees I had a problem with. The woman asked me for $ 3.72. No problem! Here is my gift card. After she swiped the card, she asked me to pay for the remaining $ 1.51. I didnt actually see any amount deducted from the $ 3.72 total, but I gave my credit card to the lady trusting that her machine and her math were correct. After my credit card was charged, she gave me the receipt which showed that nothing was deducted from my gift card! What the heck!!!(I just checked my card balance online and there was a balance of $ 1.51 that was never redeemed in this transaction!) I did not use the bathroom, but my friend did and I was advised it was nasty! Watch out!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I love Dunkin Donuts. I just don’t like this Dunkin Donuts location. The cashier was flat out rude to me as I was ordering. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but she called me dumb ass in front of the customers in line and then had the nerve not to get what I ordered. I was pretty much enraged that I had an all out confrontation in front of my family and children. DON’T PATRONIZETHISSTOREIFMANAGEMENTDOESN’T EVENCAREWHOTHEYHIRETOSERVICETHEIRBUSINESS.

This is the world’s slowest dunkin donuts. Everything is pre made, it just has to be heated or bagged, its not gourmet. I didn’t understand why every order took about 10 mins. The team here really needs to work on time management. and why was my iced coffee so watered down?

The pumpkin latte here is purely passable. The latte was mouth-burning hot and creamy but I noticed it was a tad more syrupy than say Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte. BUT, it’s still a tasty beverage option aside from Dunkin’ Donuts already delicious coffee.=. Too full from dinner to throw in a pumpkin donut to the mix, but hey the latte was a good pumpkin fix.(ouch. the rhyming kills me).

I grew up eating Dunkin’ Donuts. I remember getting hyper from drinking their coolatta and finding an excuse to eat donuts for lunch with my siblings. So I was very disappointed when all of their locations within a 50-mile radius of my house were closed. Since then, whenever I traveled to another part of the country, I would google the area for Dunkin’. You can imagine how excited I was when I saw this location. I wanted to try their coffee but was dehydrated so I settled for an iced tea and chose a maple donut. The donut wasn’t entirely fresh and the iced tea was nothing to write home about. The trip satisfied my Dunkin’ craving but I won’t be going again for a while and probably not to this location.

I went to this Dunkin Donuts when it first opened: Terrible is all I could say. 1. Got my order wrong twice 2. Coffee diluted 3. Donuts were not fresh 4. Waited way too long for my order This may no longer be the case now, but I told myself never to go to this one again. Has anyone been here since it opened?
