Established in 2007.
Back in 2007, a native New Yorker found himself in San Diego with a pressing issue — a severe shortage of high-quality thin-crust pizza. So what’s a guy to do? Some of us would learn to live with the local pizza, but that wasn’t good enough for one man. And so, Flippin’ Pizza was born.
Flippin’ Pizza quickly distinguished itself from competitors and grew to 4 stores just a year later in 2008. At this point, a new management team acquired the promising young brand and grew it into the award-winning international pizza franchise it is today.
Flippin’ Pizza is one of the fastest growing, fast casual pizza franchises in the U.S. We serve authentic, hand-tossed, craveable pies and slices in a fast casual and family-friendly environment.
Our pies consistently win «best pizza» awards in the markets we serve, including mentions in publications such as the Union Tribune in San Diego and the Washington Post and Washingtonian in the DC market. Our shop on Connecticut Ave opened in 2010.
