Not much I can say about George Carry Out other than I wanted a fish sandwich late at night and they delivered on my need. I went in and they gave me a pretty damn good fish sandwich. Nice flaky fried fish with good breading on a sesame seed bun. Accompanying lettuce, tomatoes and tartar sauce were all fresh and at the appropriate levels. Onions were a bit of an overkill but it didn’t matter as I wasn’t concerned with fresh breath at that hour. While nothing to look at and with an odd odor in the inside, George more than delivered with what I needed at the time. If I’m ever craving a fish sandwich again on a U street crawl I’ll definitely come through again.

Not the best, but definitely not horrible. I ordered shrimp fried rice, wonton/egg drop soup, and chicken wings. Everything had decent flavor except for the rice. I had to add soy sauce and duck sauce to make it better. I don’t know if I will order from them again.
