Established in 2009.

After years of painting faces, and a love for weddings, Washington DC Makeup Artist Melissa Schwartz Jones conceived the idea. With a laundry list of clients who’d talked about unfortunate hair and makeup tragedies on their wedding day, Melissa came up with a solution and decided to hand select a highly experienced, talented team of working artists in DC. In 2009, Georgetown Bride was born. Hundreds of beautiful brides later, the team is recognized as trusted beauty establishment with discriminating taste and a passion for flawless faces and amazing hair.
