The new management of the garage is great. I discovered my car had a flat just as I reached their garage. It was 7 pm. Even though he had already turned off the compressor and was heading out the door, the owner said he’d help me. He fixed the flat, charging me a very reasonable price, and was very nice about the whole thing. He clearly had all kinds of business lined up for the next day, so lack of work wasn’t why he did it. He’s just a really good guy.

I tried to get gas here, but I couldn’t use my credit card at the pump AND no one was behind the plexiglass when I went to the window. Uhhh… sad.

Really?!? Why come every time I visit this damn station 1) the credit card option for payment at the pump is never an option – it’s hardly ever working; 2) the door to the store is locked (really? at 8am you’re locking the door?); 3) the person who should be behind the glass isn’t – I guess they’re in the back watching Family Guy or something. And why come their prices are so erratic? This seems to be the most expensive station within a five mile radius.
To be fair, a couple of the guys who work behind the plexiglass are pretty nice; but them others… I’m not gonna name names (mostly because I don’t know how to spell them), but if they were deported tomorrow I wouldn’t shed a tear.
