This guy is the real deal. He understands your pain or should I say, «Your fear of pain». I had an implant done to replace a broken incisor. Everything went smoothly. I expected pain but experienced none.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Dr. Boquel or his staff members. I found them all to be very professional, extremely likable and very flexible. I am the worlds biggest wuss when it comes to dental visits, Dr. Boquel was very sensitive to my fear and really took the time and made the effort to make me feel more comfortable. The procedure itself went without a hitch. Not sure where these other not so nice reviews come from, my experience was A+

Dr. Boquel’s clinical skills are not in question and his chair-​side manner was great, but I was not at all impressed with the business operations of his periodontal practice.
I was referred to this large practice (with multiple clinicians, support staff, and geographic locations) by my longtime general dentist, whom I love and trust. Shortly after my arrival, I was seated in the exam chair, but I was not thrilled when I was greeted by a gum-​popping technician who continued to pop her gum loudly while she took my dental history and prepared me for the doctor’s exam. It was not exactly the most professional or confidence-​inspiring clinical experience.
To make matters much worse, I was overbilled for my copayment (my credit card was charged during my visit for more than they were entitled to collect as a participating provider with my Dental PPO). I could have forgiven a billing error, but what really annoyed me was the fact that I not only had to waste my own time calling them to point out the error and get the situation sorted out, but I had to call them TWICE in order to request a refund. Both times when I called, I was reassured verbally that the credit would be issued… yet, despite the expenditure of time on my part, the refund never showed up. Ultimately, I had to dispute the credit card charge with my card issuer to get things resolved.
This is hardly a way to run a dental practice. Time for some tighter staff management, maybe?

Reception/​intake very rude and unprofessional, he questioned me in such a discourteous manner as to why i needed to see a periodontist that i hung up on him.
i would NEVER make an appointment at a ‘professional’ medical treatment facility where prospective patients are treated with such insolence.
i found a much friendlier, professional practice for my periodontal needs.

He is fantastic. Extremely competent, treats his staff well, and is a nice guy to boot.
