Giant

We went ta da place an it so bright we wore da shades. Lol. LIGHTS! We get da food and it real fresh. We buy frozen pizzas like nuthin. Den we get in da bread space and we buy it go home and made up naughty sandwiches. So great man! I only wish day let me take my shirt off in da place.

Decent organic selections, friendly staff, and convenient if you’re within walking distance

We love going to this giant. It’s conveniently located, has free parking and has most of everything we need.

I live 3 blocks from this place and after my first visit I texted a neighbor: «have you been to the new Giant? It’s a game changer». As previous reviews have noted, it’s not a trader joes or a whole foods, but it’s DEFINITELY not a Murry’s. The store is clean, the employees are friendly, and I actually like going grocery shopping now!

First of all, this is a Giant. So, it’s no Trader Joes and no Whole Foods. It’s not Safeway and it’s not Harris teeter. It’s Giant. It looks like a Giant and feels like a Giant. So yeah, it’s a Giant that happens to be on H street.
Though. I tried the handheld scanner thing for the first time. That was pretty cool and convenient.
Oh yeah, and for the grand opening, there was a guy dressed up as Abe Lincoln, and there was also a DJ pumping music through the aisles.
