Ruth provides a thorough educational experience which includes alcohol history, hands on pouring, out of class assignments, and real life advice in a fun environment. The cost is extremely reasonable for the hours, material covered, and certifications you receive upon completing the program. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Global Proof productions. Ruth was an incredible instructor, who not only taught me about liquor history but also shared her personal experiences. I attended a bartending school before and nothing compares to Ruth’s teaching skills. Global Proof is the only one month program in the DMV area that provides TIPS certification. Ruth teaches her students the ins and outs of bartending. I finished the program in June and now I’m interning at different bars in the area. I left the school feeling very confident about bartending because of Ruth.

The DC Bartending School is an incredible institution. I work with a event and marketing team in the DMV area, and have had the pleasure to work with Ruth and her team to staff some of our events. The professionalism and demeanor that Ruth’s students bring to the events are unquestionably genuine. Ruth not only teaches her students the art of shaking up classy drinks, but she teaches them the importance of spirits knowledge, speed and efficiency, and most importantly absolute hospitality. This lady knows what she is doing. Her graduates love her, and her future students should know that the DC Bartending School is THE place to enroll.
