I own numererous rental properties in DC&VA. Unfortunate that some tenants don’t pay their rent on time. I had one tenant who owed me thousands of dollars past due rent. Kept make different excuse each month why it not paid. My property management company finally convince me turn the tenant over to attorney.(I had hard life growing up poor and deaf so I’m a bit of a softie). The situation with this tenant was he bought new expensive luxury car but still not pay me rent. Not right. Even when I was poor, always paid my rent in full on time. I did without other things and work hard. Never liked lawyers much, but I was in need. My case was assign to Greg Dumont. he got the tenant to pay up the past due rents and late fees. He was efficient about it too. One thing I worried about was high legal bill, but every penny spent on Greg was well worth it. He didn’t pad any his bills.
