I needed to get my boss a present and remembered this place had recently opened nearby. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Upon walking in the door, I was immediately offered to taste some whisky that was on special. I chose a nice wine and, after purchasing it, happened to mention that it was a gift and was given a gift bag at no charge (presumably by the owner)!

Imperial Wine and Spirits delivers amazing customer service and a great selection of wine and spirits — some that you cannot find anywhere else!
The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond when helping me to find the perfect anniversary present for my husband.

We were just walking by over the Christmas holiday, when we were invited in so warmly that we, well, went in. There were two Gentlemen working (Father & Son perhaps?) who asked our preferences and offered up samples. Now that’s our kind of wine & spirit store!
Not to mention they were having a big Grand Opening Sale. Husband found a new bourbon he likes and it was $ 10 off. When I admired the little glass that held my taste of red wine, he insisted on giving me the glass!

Friendliest liquor store in DC! I went in for a couple bottles for poker night and left a little tipsy! They had a wine tasting and advised me on what I should by allowing me to sample things! Hands down, the best liquor store in the city!
