I have been a client for years. I was referred to Indigo by one of her regular clients. Indigo is professional, sweet, and creative. She uses professional, natural products. She has every nail color under the sun. I let her pick the color. I love the creativity. She gives an excellent foot massage. Your feet soak in nice, hot soothing water. Unlike your typical rushed pedicure service… In addition, Indigo is prompt and reliable. I moved out of state and would return home for pedicures. I make sure that getting a pedicure by Indigo is on my agenda. I book appointments online. This makes the process easier. Price is comparable to the excellent service. I like that she is metro accesible too. Located in Eastern Market corridor. I encourage anyone to take a visit. I am more than satisfied!

I adore Indigo. She’s a sweet lady who truly enjoys her work as a nail stylist. You can tell how much she enjoys her work, because it does show. I was frustrated when I got a Vinylux manicure a couple weeks ago… and it started to chip only after 4 days! Whiskey tango foxtrot, that thing it supposed to stay put for at least 7 days! I basically threw money down the drain, which made me super mad. Then, I found Indigo and my life has changed for the better.
I booked online (super easy!), and set my appointment on my commute home. Waited for a short while in the main lobby area, and then was shown to the back.
Hands down, Indigo’s manis are amazing. She did a great job prepping and filing down my nails. I’m so happy with her work, and the time she took for my nails! I’m going in this week for a Shellac session, and I know it’s going to be great.
Thank you, Indigo, for finally giving me the care my nails need. I had no idea that all of the past salons that I’ve gone to were all doing it wrong!

Fantastic! Great job on my nails. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. She wrote down my color, some tips for keeping my nails healthy, and even offered to help pick out colors for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. Looking forward to going back!

I have been religiously going to Indigo for about 4 years now. Her pedis and manis are the absolute best. During your appointment with Indigo, she genuinely takes her time to give you the best service. Your feet and hands feel like a million bucks afterward and your nails always look amazing. Just yesterday, I complained to her about how I was having a bad week and just needed a pick-​me-​up. She helped me pick out the perfect color (actually a combination of colors from Gelish) for my hands. Immediately after I left her salon, I received 2 unsolicited compliments on my nails! She sure knows how to make a girl feel special.
Indigo always stays on top of the latest trends and products. Her wide selection of polish, Shellac, Gelish, and other nail art almost make it impossible to choose! I also love that you can conveniently schedule appointments on
at any time. If you need a good mani-​pedi, do not hesitate to book with Indigo.

I found Indigo here on Unilocal and booked an appointment on her website — love being able to book online and change appointments when needed. She did a great job with a mani-​pedi and offered insight about why my nails have recently started to have problems. Her prices are competitive and she accepts credit card, including for the tip, and takes American Express!
She is personable and inspirational and it looks like she keeps good sanitary/​cleanliness (which is a really big issue for me) practices.

I agree with other reviewers… I want to keep Indigo all to myself, but the word is out… she’s amazing! Her $ 20 manicures DO.NOT.CHIP! She only offers high quality polishes (Zoya, Ginger and Liz, Essie, etc) has the latest colors and polishes like Pop Beauty and is up on the latest trends like Shellac/​Gelish, Minx and nail appliques. The custom sugar scrub she slathers on my feet&legs during my pedicures is worth the trip alone!
What I love most is the one-​on-​one service and attention she provides; Her services are by appointment so there is no waiting and you never feel rushed out of the chair; its just you and her designing the best look for your nails. She’s done fun holiday designs for me (Candy Corn mani for Halloween, Celtics themed mani for a trip to Boston) and even took time out of her busy NY fashion week schedule to come to my hotel room in Brooklyn and do a birthday manicure for me! Make sure to book ahead of time on Schedulicity.
Her Capitol Hill salon is also one stop shopping for me, Cherelle does my hair and they offer waxing and massage! You can make a day of it since she’s located across from the Eastern Market metro station– have brunch, shop at Eastern Market, get a mani/​pedi, treat yourself!

Indigo does the BEST manicure first before doing your Shellac/​Gelish nails. Bar none, she does a phenomenal job of taking care of your nails before doing the polish. I tried her originally because of the Gilt City special but will continue to go back. She’s great and have event recommended my clients to her!

I got a shellac manicure from Indigo almost two weeks ago. It’s still just perfect, not a single chip. She really took her time and did a wonderful job, I will be back!

I’m almost reluctant to write this review because I don’t want to share her…
In the spirit of spreading good energy though, she is TO DIE FOR.

Miss Indigo perfected my nails today, and I couldn’t be happier and merrier! I went there with worn out pumpkin color nail polish.(yes.left over from Thanksgiving) hoping to get a nail make over.
I got nice red, hot, sexy shellac on my nails, and I feel so cheerful! Though that the salon is in the back of a beauty salon. and small., she had made the area very cozy.warm.and relaxing. Not only she is so skillful in what she does, she is so nice.
Even with my GiltCity voucher, she provided a full complete service as if I was paying the full price — which I was a little bit worried about. Luckily, I bought two vouchers, so I can’t wait to go back to her and get my nails done again!
This is definitely my spot!!!, but I wouldn’t mind sharing Miss Indigo with you all.

, not quite sure how this would work out… but, I went to my appointment, couldn’t find my certificate. They let me log onto their computer and find my email confirmation. I went back sat with Indigo. Love her area, nice relaxing, we chatted, they brought me wine. Life was good. I did the shellac manicure, and it looked fabu! So happy, made my next appointment!

Feel like a solid 4.5 actually didn’t want to quite give a 4 and wish they did half stars… thought i’d be late for my 2pm appt about 9 days ago but I got there 2 mins early and walked in and saw Indigo and said I was her 2pm and she told me to sit in the waiting area and I saw her still working on and talking to a girl so i’m kinda hmmmmm a tiny bit mad like um okay hope she’s really close to done like this girl is sitting there drying her nails or something and then I hear more than Indigo and the girl’s nails she’s working on voice… I hear another girl so I’m really like wait a minute what the heck is going on.
Time is ticking and is getting to like 2:20 and I had contemplated leaving twice because I had somewhere to be at 4. So at 2:20 she says she’s ready for me… i’m thinking finally and I get back there she tells me to pick a color the 2 girls there I will say were starting to annoy me a bit because I swear they did not want to leave and yeaahhhh sooooooo I picked my color and she’s starting up the water and what not.
Long story a bit short she tells me that where i’ve been going that was using metal blades was bad for my feet which is why they started to get rough quicker, she was super attentive and did things to my feet I’ve never seen before… she was funny and very personable, so I thought hey I like her and she got more points for the fact that she said she was going to college also but she realized what she’s doing now is REALLY what she truly loves to do and I thought that was so awesome. She gave me tips to keep my feet softer longer in between pedicures and I will be back for a basic pedi like she recommended instead of the callus therapy I went to get and I’ll also be going for the minx manicure (gold prism foil)…so when I’m done with this interview I’ll be making an appt for next week. She’ll definitely be seeing me about 3 wks and she too 5 off for my pedi I take it because of her starting my appt so late because of the 2 girls already there.
Can’t to go back. And it’s a block away from Sweetgreen :) lol

I seriously made a Unilocal account just to review this place. This was my first time getting a MINX mani and it was a wonderful experience. Even before I walked into the salon, Indigo was so helpful, pleasant and good-​natured. She answered all of my questions and always in a timely manner. I originally had a big group of people coming & she worked with me to attempt to accommodate every one. And hell, as many times as I had to change the date due to schedule conflicts, if I were her I would’ve lost my patience and said forget it lmao. But she was patient and always well mannered and understanding.
When we stepped into the salon, she had a little breakfast waiting for us which was a nice surprise! Not only that but she just has a warm personality that invites you in. She took her time with each one of our manis paying special attention to all of our individual needs. When they say designer nails, I definitely know why — she DESIGNED our nails, and catered them to each of our styles. She has definitely made three long time customers and I will be going back soon!
PS. Lmao Shouts out to Steven (just playing if that wasn’t his name; my bad LOL) who made the day even more lively. I you so much!

By far one of the best Mani/Pedi’s I’ve ever had. Indigo pays attention to detail and also provides a very relaxing environment. Will be returning very soon.
