Business Owner
I was born & raised in Northwest Washington, D.C., graduating from Edmund Burke School. I went on to graduate as a psychology major from Ithaca College. After college, I lived in Thailand teaching English for 1.5 years. Then I moved to California & worked at a residential design build firm in San Diego. I initially worked solely on the design process, working closely with local architects & designers in the development of a variety of projects. After a year with the firm, I joined the construction team, working side by side with the general contractors & the head project managers. I gained the understanding of how to truly maximize space within a condo/townhouse setting & how to achieve an inviting flow in a residential setting. After two years with Sundiego Inc. I returned to DC & started J&R Services, a design build company that strives to meet the expectation of every client, giving design & structural input throughout the process, which intertwines functionality & client vision.
