Made an appointment. I took off work. No one called or showed. I called and they said someone would be available in 2 hours. I declined.

I love lawn tribe! They are so easy to work with and I love being able to book services online. I recommend them to friends and clients all the time and they love them too!

I can not rave enough about Lawn Tribe. We are a young couple living in an old row house in DC. Our yard is the last thing on our minds and with our small paychecks the hardest thing to maintain. Lawn Tribe allows us to book a professional from our phone that day (Lets say we get a surprise visit from the in laws) They charge by the hour and allow any reoccurring service to be set up at a discount. I now have a beautiful yard and I don’t need to stress about it. They alert me if I need a weed service and show up during the exact window we booked. This is an awesome service run by professionals. Do yourself a favor and set up a Lawn Tribe account. Your yard, mind and wallet will thank you.

Lawntribe has been a huge help to us this year after moving into our new house and not owning any equipment necessary for lawn maintenance and being unsure that we want to purchase it, as we’re not sure what our long-​term plans are for the lawn.
I’ve had 3 – 4 appointments with them and have started requesting the team that comes (Alex’s) by name as they do such a great job. This time, they provided additional services above and beyond (blowing out the debris and dust in our garage on their way out). They’re also always on time (if not early), friendly, and efficient.
I also love being able to book appointments online.
My one frustration, which I’ve expressed to the company, is with their frequent cancellations after a rain or other situation. I’ve sometimes waited up to two weeks for a visit to be rescheduled because they didn’t have enough teams available. I’ve now learned to just book appointments before I really think I’ll need them, but this is a glitch that they’re hopefully working out.
Overall though, doesn’t outweigh the benefits so we’ll continue to use them, happily.

I’ve been using Lawn Tribe this year and am very happy with their service. Appointments are simple to make online; times and days are flexible to fit with your schedule. For the first appointment, the team came over and cleaned up after the winter. Since then, I’ve had individuals and teams over for various yard projects. They have planted trees, trimmed shrubs, and kept the lawn neat and trimmed all summer. Easy to use, affordable, professional, and customer service oriented, they are simply the best!

I have been using them for almost 6 mos now and Lawn Tribe has to be one of the easiest, affordable and efficient lawn services in D.C. They are very professional, come when they say will and are very thorough if something needs to be addressed or corrected. I would highly recommend their service.

I was really excited about finding a lawn service provider as that would take so much stress off of me being a new homeowner, however; this experience has only added stress and wasted my time. I decided to go with Lawn Tribe after reading the reviews on Unilocal and now I’m sorry I did. I scheduled my appointment online for today, I was given a time window and my credit card info was taken online (a little iffy about providing my card number without receiving services but I gave it a try). Got off work early to make sure I was here (at least for the first visit). I noticed earlier in the day my credit card was charged for the service before the tech even came out which was red flag #1. It rained this morning so I thought they might call and reschedule but I never received a call or email so I assumed they were still coming. Looked out my door around 5pm to see other neighbors getting their lawn mowed but no sign of Lawn Tribe. I gave them an hr past the time window (4:30−6:30pm) and finally emailed at 7:30pm after no call no show asking for my card to be refunded for services I never received. Instead a refund I got an email back at 10pm stating my appointment was rescheduled to ⁷⁄₂₀ due to rain. Was someone going to call or email prior to after the services were supposed to be done? How unprofessional. Not only was I not notified ahead of time, I was charged for services I never received. I do not recommend this company to anyone and I plan on speaking with a manager tomorrow morning. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of peoples time, what’s the point of making an appointment when you don’t show up… smh.

I’ve been looking for a really great and dependable lawn and garden service for the past year and finally a few months ago I came here and am fortunate enough to have found them. Lawn Tribe is the best. I am touched to see how much they like their job and it shows in a job well done. They not only will work on the lawn but will help with your garden needs as well. I would highly recommend them to all of you!

Lawn Tribe did a great job. Website was completely easy to use. Online payment was convenient. Was very happy with the end product.

As a regular Unilocaler, I am proud to give Lawn Tribe their first Unilocal review. I found them on Unilocal while searching for lawn care services and although there were no reviews for this new company, I decided to give them a try especially since they are based in DC and I try to do business with DC companies first since I live and work here. I especially like that their website indicates they donate to various local charities, not to mention all the services they provide for such reasonable prices (see
for pricing and services) compared to the bigger lawn care companies. I tried booking online but for some reason, their website wasn’t working last week so I called the office and left a message. A few minutes later a very nice lady called me back and helped me book my first appointment for the following Saturday. Although the one-​man crew showed up 2 hours late, I decided not to hold it against Lawn Tribe knowing that things come up and people are late for various reasons; turns out, he was delayed on a previous job in Alexandria. He did what he could with the remaining daylight, and realized that he couldn’t finish my job so he offered to come back the next morning and although he was 75 minutes late for that appointment, he did finish the job to my satisfaction. To sum up, I recommend using this new DC based business for lawn care services, I recommend they fix the glitch with their website so customers can more easily book their appointments online, and I recommend that their crews call customers when they are running late. If they can fix these minor issues, then I’m sure their new business will be a major success in no time!
