Scam. Order never delivered. Waited close to 2 hours on my stoop for a delivery less than 5 miles away from store. Order Never showed up. Called multiple times and the owner assured the driver left«20 minutes ago» every time I called; when they did answer. Glad I didn’t pay with a card and get scammed as I’m sure they try to achieve.

Average pizza. Average everything. Everyone who works here is super nice and cool. No one will judge you for ordering French fries at 2:00 a.m. on your way home from the bar.

The«jumbo» slice was not jumbo. It was barely a slice. The guy said«it’s not jumbo, all slices are the same size». $ 4.50? I’ve been bamboozled.

Good pizza, lots of menu choices, great prices, and prompt service. What more can you ask for from a Pizza place?

The pizza is the best choice, everything else, they put very little effort into. I usually order pizza but felt like being different this time. I ordered a steak and cheese/bacon«wrap”(really a sub) for 7.99… It was a bread roll, with steak, 1 slice of cheese and bacon… Maybe I had to choose toppings. Regardless it was no good for almost $ 10 for a sandwich.

Caution: the ‘district manager’ will call you back to harass you if you express you don’t like his tone, that is all you need to know. TL;DR don’t do it, girl. I mean, I know it’s Manny and Olga’s but I’ve had ok luck with mediocre pizza. Today was RIDICULOUS. I ordered on Grub Hub and didn’t receive the food after a confirmation and an email. Whatever. Happens. I called the store to talk about it. I obviously order there… occasionally. The«district manager» was rude and incredibly condescending. I ended up saying I didn’t like his tone and wouldn’t be ordering again and would cancel the order via Grub Hub to get my refund. And then I hung up. 2SECONDSLATER: He called back to yell at me! So, I mean, I have now screwed up because some crazy person has my phone number and address. But also: WHATTHEHELL?! So DONOTORDERHERE!

I really try not to leave bad reviews. But hell no! I order food– it gets here timely(ish). The delivery guy went to the wrong apartment, on the wrong floor. Calls me and then proceeds to sit on the phone with me for over three minutes YELLING at me. I asked him to stop and he kept insisting I didn’t know where I live! Finally he went to leave my building and security told him he was at the wrong damn place. They had to escort him up. It’s not like I live in a maze here. My apartment is on the 9th floor and starts with a 9. He kept insisting he was there. Then I get my food– cold. And it’s missing part of my order which I paid for. I understand hiccups in the service industry here and there. But screw that. I’m not giving a business my money so that I can receive incorrect, cold orders and get yelled at in the process.

The chicken steak wasn’t very good. Pizza by the slice is decent if you spice the hell out of it. Made the mistake of ordering a medium pizza for delivery. The majority of the pizza was crust and the crust is not very good, that should serve as a fair warning. I would not recommend to anyone.

I’m use to eating at the U street corridor location but decided to try this location out. I was working in the area about 3 blocks from Manny and Olga. I ordered a pizza and mozzarella sticks at about 7:45pm. I didn’t get my food until 9:10. I’m trying to figure out why it took that long to bring my food 3 blocks down there street. Pizza was warm and mozzarella sticks were cold, with one of them by having any cheese in it at all.

The food is so-so, the pizza dough is very bland but the wings are decent. It’s what you expect from a place like this. Delivery takes an hour usually. Last night we ordered and our driver got lost but found us eventually, however he pulled up and he was smoking, had his girlfriend in the car, and took his sweet time getting out of the car and bringing the food over. Mind you we were sitting on the steps outside because he had called to tell us he was a few minutes away because he got lost. I don’t care if you have your lady with you, but, smoking and delivering people’s food? Gross. And he walked up with the cigarette just hanging out of his mouth like hey did you order this? So rude and disgusting. Sometimes the food is cold when it arrives, occasionally we get the wrong thing. Last night we didn’t have the condiments we ordered. But, we do keep coming back because it’s easy to order, especially with the app, and the food does the trick for just being something to eat.

PLEASEDONOTORDERFROMHERE. Seriously. There are myriad 1 star reviews for a reason. I ordered through Eat24, and I expected to wait some time because it’s a Saturday night… but I ended up waiting two hours. I called the restaurant twice to check my status and was ignored, I even waited on the hold line for five minutes and no one picked up. I contacted Eat24 and the representative informed me that the delivery man had car trouble and went back to the restaurant, she told me that she was also not informed of this delay… What kind of business is this supposed to be? UNprofessional. And coincidentally, right when I requested a refund from Eat24, this insult of a pizzeria magically remembered my phone number, fixed their car trouble, and was at my front door in under two minutes. The pizza might as well had been from Safeway’s freezer because it was cold and dry. My boyfriend ate a piece out of hunger, but me? OVERIT. Instead, I decided to write this review. $ 20 down the drain. Never, ever, ever, again.

Man, you snobby DC people are HARSH and sure live up to the reputation of stuck-up and hard-to-please. It’s PIZZA, people. The delivery service is efficient with very cordial individuals — no, it’s not Jimmy Johns, sometimes they take more than 20 minutes, but always under 45 in my experiences, even late on weekend nights. The pizza is amazing. Lots of variety and options. I can’t comment on anything but the pizza but have been wanting to try a calzone. I had a really wonderful experience in buying a friend a gift card since this is one of his favorite places. I couldn’t make it down to DC to buy the gift card, so I left a message asking how to go about getting a card. They called me back almost instantly, left me messages, and then they took my info over the phone, mailed it to me and I received it within two days of our phone call. Very professional of them. The only complaint I have is that the gift card only works on pick-up-in-store and not delivery. Oh, and the pizza is amazing. All of you people need to seriously lighten up.

Our order took 2 hours to get here and they brought us the wrong food because«someone else» wanted the gyro that we ordered. When we called to complain they told is to heat our oven to 350 and heat it for 15 minutes and it will taste just like it came from the store… This place is a joke.

I live close to them and they delivered a pizza 30 minutes late and so cold it needed to be microwaved. The delivery person was so rude when I pointed this out, telling me to call their office. I called and after placing me on hold twice and forgetting who I was, without an apology they said they would deliver another… An hour later and another cold pizza. This time the delivery person made me stand outside on a winter night and wouldn’t give me the pizza until he called back his manager and verified that he wasn’t supposed to take back the old pizza… Never again. So much for wanting to buy local! You can get better, faster and friendlier service from the large pizza fast food chains, and I’ve never said that. Avoid at all costs.

It was 1am on Halloween, and my house full of ghosts and ghouls was getting very hungry. I placed my order and saw the ETA was 2:20am…the pizza came exactly at that time, almost as if the folks at the store popped it into the over(.microwave?) at 2:15am. Kind of annoying since I live less than 1 mile away. As inebriated as we were, all of us agreed the pizza was okay. The crust tasted like bread and had no seasoning. Sad. Don’t plan on ordering from here again. I will just hold off until the morning to feed the beast!

Manny and Olgas’s features a very nice background story about a family of Greek immigrants who opened up a small eatery in 1974 that was popular enough to blossom into a local chain in the DC area. Heartwarming! Sadly, as we fast forward to 2013, I honestly have no idea how they’ve been able to stay in business. Located on Georgia Avenue and close to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue, this location is a very small store front space that is primarily a takeout spot with a few window seats. In addition to pizza, Manny and Olga’s also offers wings, burgers, subs, sandwiches, pasta dishes and desserts. Speaking of burgers, they have one burger concoction where they incorporate fries as a topping. Color me interested! I made the unfortunate choice of getting a few jumbo slices of pizza from here. While the slice was indeed jumbo, I can’t emphasize enough about the unappealing nature of everything else. The pizza crust was dry and burnt. The sauce had little flavor to it. There was hardly any cheese on the pizza and the little that was on there was pretty thin. Generally speaking, I’ve found that it’s hard to get decent pizza in the DC area. This place just took things to a new low though. Their jumbo slices are better served being used as floor tiles. If there is a positive it’s that I had a leftover slice that I didn’t want to eat but didn’t want to throw out. Luckily, I was able to give the pizza to a homeless person panhandling for money at one of the intersections. He even said«God Bless You». Hopefully he still feels that way after trying the pizza!
