I was really tired walking longer than 10 miles when I found this beautiful spot. I started smelling many different flowers, which blew away my exhaustion. Also there are many unique plants and trees. Relaxing and peaceful. I wanna check this garden more often.

Tucked next to the Smithsonian’s Arts & Industries Building, this is the cutest and most peaceful little garden on The Mall. Actually wandering the gardens of the Smithsonian in general is lovely, but this is one that is sort of off the beaten path (except for when it was apparently trampled during the 2009 inauguration). There is a fountain and benches and it cuts straight through from Jefferson on the Mall side to Independence. Would definitely be a great place to sneak away or have a quiet lunch.
