History

Established in 1978.

For more than 30 years, Whitman-​Walker Health has been leader in high quality and affirming health care for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and for those living with HIV/​AIDS. Our health care services are open to the entire community.

I came here for a general check up since I got an appointment fairly quickly. I am very happy with the service here, they have great doctors and excellent staff.
This health center is specialized in serving lower income residents. The patients looked happy and the waiting times were not too long, which is not the usual case for such places. As the previous review said, I hope this place is here to stay. I am very impressed to say the least !
