History

Established in 2012.

Heal + Create is a wellness and creativity lab that brings together the healing power of alternative medicine and artistic practice. Founder Melanie St. Ours has been a practicing massage therapist and theater artist since 2005 and opened Heal + Create in order to further her mission of transforming pain and limitation into freedom and possibility.

Heal + Create will open on February 1^st. 2012.

Business Owner

Melanie is a multi-​passionate wellness practitioner and theater artist who has worked with hundreds of clients and collaborators since beginning her work in DC in 2005. As a clinical massage therapist and personal trainer at a prominent physical therapy office downtown, she quickly became a go-​to therapist for patients with trauma history, chronic illness, and other difficult conditions. In 2009 she continued her studies in herbal medicine and began practicing in 2011. Now, Melanie works at the crossroads of creativity + healing, using a wide range of practices to help people transform their bodies and their lives.
