Dr. Mirando is a graduate of Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, SC and has been practicing since 2001. He is an advocate of family based, health focused chiropractic care and treats patients 6 months old and up. He uses multiple chiropractic techniques including Gonstead, diversified upper cervical, Pierce, Thompson, and applied kinesiology. He is also certified in extremity adjusting, sports injuries, and treating expectant mothers. In addition to his active practice, Dr. Mirando is President of the D.C. Chiropractic Association. Dr. Mirando enjoys seeing a wide variety of musculoskeletal diseases and all age groups including children, and he looks forward to helping care for DC natives and visiting patients alike for many years to come.

dr mirando is through and explains what he is doing, asks about any changes and is very pleasant. his staff is kind and accommodating. i started to see him for issues 2 years ago and still see him whenever i have any issues. l never have to wait and am often in and out of the office in just a few minutes.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Brown for sometime now. I have a lot of experience seeing chiropractors and I can say that he is easily the best at dealing with neck problems that I have ever seen.
If you have any issues with your back and neck, especially, I recommend you try Dr. Brown at Mirando Chiropractic.

Dr. Mirando has pretty much saved my life several times. He is young and friendly and he obviously knows what he’s doing. Dr. Larry Brown, who also works at this office sometimes, is also first-​rate. These guys work miracles. If you haven’t tried chiropractic care before, this is a great place to give it a try. Scott at the reception desk is terrific, too.

I came to Dr. Mirando’s office through Living Social (or Groupon) for a massage + chiro exam. My masseuse was Ama and she was fantastic. My back is always so tight from sitting at a desk all day and she was able to work out a lot of those knots. I like a lot of pressure for my deep tissue massages and she did a great job.
In addition to my back issues, I had been dealing with tingling in my left hand due to a compressed something or another in my neck. It had been going on for more than 2 years now and I needed to get that fixed. I mentioned it during the exam and Dr. Mirando immediately put a plan together. He has been working with me for nearly 2 months now. While the progress is slow (I put off getting this fixed for 2 years. I don’t expect to be fixed overnight), the tingling and numbness has gone down by A LOT. I only have issues when I’m stressed and I tense up. Even then, the tingling and numbness is about 10% of what it was.
I have a great health plan that is able to cover the costs of adjustments and this is so worth it for me. After all, if you don’t have your health, what else do you have?

My parents are chiropractors in NY and the only people who had ever adjusted me. Obviously I had some uncertainties about seeing a new doc now that I’m in a new town! Dr Mirando rid me of these uncertainties and made me feel very comfortable. He and his staff are professional, efficient, and very friendly. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

I visited Dr. Dominick Mirando yesterday due to hip and back problems that have been troubling me since a sports injury about a month ago. Anyway, I called Mirando Chiropractic on the recommendation of a friend. They were kind enough to squeeze me in that morning. I was impressed with the care I received here for several reasons. If you’re new to chiropractic treatment and are a bit uneasy, Dr. Mirando will explain everything to you and take the time to ask a lot of questions in being very thorough. He is friendly (as is the office staff in general) and although the waiting room was quite busy, I didn’t feel rushed at all. My injury has caused some complications for which I’ve had to return to both my gp and orthopaedic dr. for further treatment. So for the moment am not in need of a chiropractor.
But if I was in need of one, I would not hesitate to return here.
