Hours were convenient and the repair was completed that day. Repair only held for a week (was later permanently fixed by a different vendor) and the tech failed to put the last 2 screws back in. Multiple emails asking for those 2 screws went unanswered.

First time ever posting on Unilocal.Wanted to put out a good word for Ali and this shop. Amazing service. Unlocked my iPhone, fixed the screen, and set me up with a way better phone service all in about 15 mins. Can’t recommend enough.

Sadly, I shattered my iPhone 6 screen while visiting DC. After researching my insurance plan with T-​Mobile and deciding that the $ 175 deductible and the time involved was not worth it, I decided to look up some repair shops. It was close to 5pm on Saturday, and all of the repair shops were either about to close or were already closed… except for Mobile-​2-​Mobile. Ali greeted us and did the repair right away, which only took about 15 minutes. My husband said that the $ 129 (before tax) was totally worth it to make me happy on the rest of the trip. Thanks, Ali!

Hands down these guys are awesome… I came to their shop on my lunch break and these guys had my iPhone 6 screen and lcd repaired in no time, 12 minutes to be exact! I watched him do the repair in front of my eyes and Ali in particular has it down to an Art! It was nice to actually watch the repair process. This is a magical place. Came in at 1:15 and had my 5s repaired by 1:30. No lines, super awesome staff. At AT&T they told me to go somewhere 3 miles away to get my screen fixed, and I asked if that’s actually the only place in the city that would do it and they said yes. This place was 2 blocks away and they’ll fix phones no matter the service provider. Holler.

My family and I came to this store to sign up for a new phone plan. The man said I could avoid paying above the set $ 50/​month by paying online, instead of in stores. A month later, I am charged a fee paying online. T-​Mobile customer service informs me that the opposite is true: I need to pay at a store in order to avoid the fees. Whether accidentally or otherwise, Mobile2Mobile misled me into activating my phone with this T-​Mobile plan. Giving the wrong information about the facts is unprofessional when they should be the experts. When I called the store they ignored my first two calls and then put me on hold for much longer than they said they would. Eventually I gave up and hung up.

I have a really bad experience here. I want to repair my phone and he did nothing. Then he charged me and I make a negative comment. After that, terrible things came. He called me and shouted at me, crusted me and threatened not returning my phone back.
I do not believe I can meet such a guy in the US!

I cracked my IPhone 5s screen went to mobile 2 mobile and the guy fixed in 20 minutes. I was very impressed with their quick service. I also ended up buying an unlocked samsung galaxy s5.

This was originally a five star review. Mentally, I’ve lowered it by one star for every additional interaction, figured it was time to update.
I asked them to fix a cracked screen, took about 20 minutes, got a free screen protector, life was good. A few days later, the screen popped up a centimeter from the case so light was showing out, took it back, tech wasn’t in. Took it back again, tech wasn’t in. When I got the tech, he heated it, told me it might have been a bad screen, wasn’t sure if the heating machine would hold it… just bring it back in.
Now the phone randomly calls folks via Facetime. I have to go out of town on business, come back a few weeks later, show the phone to them. Cant fix it because their heating machine is broken, and no sensor. Guess what? Bring it back in.
All-​in-​all, I’ve spent 2+ hours getting there, waiting, and dealt with a partially working phone for 1 month. Not worth saving $ 20 vs having apple repair.

I cracked the screen on my phone. It was expensive, but asking around they were basically the same price as everyone else.
It did take them a full day to fix the phone. It turns out that someone comes by and picks up all of the phones which need a screen replacement. Then later that day they drop them back off. It would have been nice to just wait 2 hours for the phone, instead of having to come back at 6pm to pick it up (I dropped it off at 930pm).

Great Guys and Great Customer Service! Had them unlock my Samsung Galaxy S3 to use on T-​mobile and it works just fine! (No 4g Internet) but I’m always around WiFi. So it doesn’t bother me really.
Very Knowledgeable of Samsung and Apple phones… Highly Recommend if you need repairs!
Also gave me a great deal to buy my old Galaxy S2!
They don’t waste your time either… They will let you know if they are able to help you or not.

I used Mobile-​2-​Mobile to fix two android phones that I have — my Galaxy S III (T-​Mobile) and SII (International) that got locked.
I had great service! They are super fast, friendly and have outstanding customer service.
The owner is very knowledgeable and he is an expert in fixing Android phones. I sped there just couple of minutes and got free diagnostic. They also made sure I’m not wasting my money on getting unlock code that will not work due to technical issues. This is exactly the kind of service I appreciate — honest, professional and fast.
I also did through research and this is the only place in DC that fix locked GSM phones. All other locations and stores that I visited were not able to provide this service (factory unlock). They are also provided the fastest service comparing to other companies in DC.
I would definitely go there again if I need and recommend them to my friends.
By far it is the best Cell Phone Repair company in Washington DC!

Short version: they promised to fix my phone in advance of an international trip. Not only did they not come through, they prevented me from getting another shop to repair it, and offered no compensation or solution.
Full story: I cracked my phone screen yesterday morning and called a couple of local shops to see about getting it fixed. The team at Mobile 2 Mobile checked with their technician, who verified that he had the replacement screen in stock and could turn around the repair same-​day. Even though some outlets online were offering the repair for $ 100 less than the price Mobile2Mobile quoted me, I chose to get my phone repaired at Mobile 2 Mobile because I was leaving in two days for an overseas trip and needed to make sure to have it repaired in time. I dropped off my phone and the Mobile2Mobile associate called the technician again to verify that he had the replacement part and could fix it on the same day.
At the end of the day, not having heard from them, I called Mobile2Mobile to check on the progress and was told that there was some «bad news»: they only had one replacement screen in stock, and it was defective. But, they promised they could order another part overnight, which would arrive in time to deliver by COB the next day (today).
Today, I called again to check on the progress and was told, again, «bad news»: the technician didn’t have the replacement screen in the correct color, and would need to order it, which would take a week. I reminded them that they promised same-​day delivery for a part in stock when I first called and provided all my phone details, including the color. And, the technician has had the phone since yesterday, so why was I told they could get the replacement part if that wasn’t the case? The staff member was apologetic but offered no solution except to wait, or install a screen in the wrong color (which they would not replace with the correct color when the part arrived.)
A manager from the store called later in the afternoon to confirm that they would not do anything to correct the problem, leaving me with an unusable phone ahead of an international trip. The manager did not offer to expedite shipping of the replacement part, find it from another source, or repair the screen with the wrong color and then replace it with the correct part later. He was terse, unapologetic, and offered no solution except wait a week when I had been promised same-​day turnaround *twice!* by his staff.

Liars, unprofessional and rude. Said I can use 4g 3g speed after unlocking and jailbreaking my iphone but after unlocking said I cannot use 4g service even though I jailbreak it. Now i m stuck in E network speed and cant go back to my old carrier

I found this to be a great place to take my smartphone for repair.
I own my Nexus 4 smartphone outright, having bought it out-​of-​pocket. After a while, when a little bit of lint happen to get stuck in the phone opening where the charging cable connects, I neededto get it repaired. (In earlier years, back when I had been overpaying for a carrier-​subsidized phone, I might simply send it backto the carrier for replacement. But now that I am able to have my own phone and enjoy cheaper prepaid service, I’ve got to take care of minor issues like this on my own.)
The helpful guy behind the counter took one look at the phone, saw the problem, and offered a two-​pronged approach: first, he would try to clean out the debris, which was relatively cheap, and if that didn’t work he could instead replace the charging port. The cleaning worked, and I was in and out of there inside of 10 minutes. I think the whole thing might’ve cost $ 30 (I don’t remember exactly the price).
It was a very positive experience, and I’ll gladly return if and when the phone turns out to need any other maintenance.
