Free! See how money is made! Tour is fast and no more than 45 minutes. You get to see how paper money is made and see the cool paper and green ink, used. Not that clean but the process is very fascinating. Viewing windows to see the process of how money is made. Very cool to see but I’d skip it unless you really are fascinated with money or machines. The museums are better, and you don’t have to book in advance. Tour is free and you can line up early in the morning or go through your congress woman/man or house representative and book through them for a guaranteed tour. I got to see the new 100 dollar bill that’s coming out and found out that«95% of the money made is sent to banks and 5% to stimulate the economy. «They make a million something at this facility alone, a day. Also threes some cool stuff like $ 10 stacked up to a million dollars.(I put the picture up) There is also this height chart that tells you how much you’re worth in money. I’m worth a million yay and I’m only 5’2. Cool little knick knacks in the gift shop like shredded money. Overall, very cool and makes you appreciate your paper money a little bit more. *Near the Smithsonian metro and next to the holocaust museum *I’d skip it unless you are into machines or really like paper money!
