Mixed feelings about this memorial.
The walls, with the names etched of all the fallen officers, was a great tribute.
However, the pond was full of algae and smelled horrible. I mean really? It was disappointing.

We stopped off at the store/​gift shop first and then walked a few blocks to the actual memorial site. It felt peaceful there with the gentle water feature and growing shade trees. There are books filled with the names of fallen officers and you are able to use those to locate where a loved one may be on the walls.
We also noticed a sign that said an actual museum is coming soon! Overall, it’s a nice tribute to our nation’s fallen law enforcement officers.

Happened to arrive in town on 05÷15÷10 during the Police week celebration. A great display to support those who go out of their way to protect the streets each and every day.
