Omar was fantastic. I am a very casual bicyclist and have your standard Target Schwinn. I just needed to have a tube replaced, but Omar went above and beyond and fixed or tuned up a lot of little things that were off on the bike. It rides like a whole new bike now. Omar was not snobby and explained everything that he was doing, which is important to me because I’m kind of intimidated by some of the bike shops around town. All that and the cost of labor was extremely reasonable. I will definitely use this service in the future and recommend it to friends. Thanks again, Omar!

I reached out to Omar about tuning up an old Peugeot bike. He conveniently picked up and dropped off my bike at DuPont circle, explained exactly how he had serviced it, and even gave me a history lesson on the evolution of Peugeot bikes. She runs like a dream now, plus I learned a little something!

My 2013 Cannondale CAAD10 had a couple of years, a couple of moves, and a bunch of miles on it when I called Nomad last Friday. I’m a casual cyclist who can do the basics, but the bike was in need of an expert eye to quiet down some squeaks, true the wheels, and do anything else necessary to keep things functioning at peak form.
Without the need for much guidance from me, Omar identified the trouble spots, got everything working properly, and did a great job of explaining what he did and what I should look out for as I put more miles on the bike going forward. I really appreciated his inclination to work with me and include me in the learning process, instead of delivering that bike shop sass we’ve all encountered at some point. The cherry on top was that he had me back on my bike within 24 hours, leaving me time to get in a couple long rides over the weekend.

Omar was great! He not only came to my house and fixed my flat tire, but he also did some quick fixes, free of charge, on spokes and brake pads that I didn’t know about. And he’s super nice and explains everything!

Omar brought my bike back from the grave. The chain had rusted and was about ready to snap, and it felt like I was using all my force to go up any kind of incline. Omar gave my bike a solid tune up and it feels like an entirely new bike — and it shaved 5 minutes off my commute time! I will definitely go to Omar for any future bike needs. Great knowledge and customer service!

Omar was fantastic. He really takes the hassle out of bike repairs when you have a busy schedule and is super affordable compared to a bike shop. He came to my house and picked up my bike then brought it back when he had finished servicing it. He is prompt, thorough, and great at explaining what work needs to be done. The bike rides great after the tune up and he clearly spent a lot of time cleaning and polishing it since he knew I wanted to put it up for sale.

I was on a ride with Omar in New Jersey, when the chain on my Kestrel Talon snapped, leaving me stranded in the middle of no where Cape May. Luckily, Omar knew what he was doing and was able to turn my bike into a single speed and get to the closest bike shop and get a new chain installed.
He also did the initial fit on my bike and has been working like a charm.
The guy is great and the prices are seriously unbeatable!
