Variety of sandwiches and their fresh ingredients makes this a to go place for a quick grab for lunch and back to the work grid with a happy belly! I’ve gotten them to cater working lunches and everyone loved the fresh veggies in their sandwiches!

Oxford Café is nothing special. It is convenient and cheap. They have *great* breakfast sandwiches, though. I have a turkey, egg, and cheese on a croissant made to order each morning I pop in. So yummy. They also have very friendly staff. But, again, it is nothing special. Good if you’re in a rush and need a quick bite to eat, but otherwise just OK.

Great place to stop for breakfast before heading to the office. All the egg sandwiches really hit the spot in the morning. Staff is friendly and the God comes fairly quick. It is easy to miss though if you’re not paying attention as they don’t have a sign on the building.

so i just started working in dc and i walk pass this place every time. i love breakfast sandwiches and im so glad i decided to come in here. of course, thanks to Unilocal,it was what made my decision so much easier. I got the sausage and egg sandwich on an everything bagel! it was less than 5 bucks and it was huge! im definitely going to come back in here and try some of their sandwiches too, but for now, i can only comment on their breakfast. it was soo good and hit just the right spot after a night out. They had multiple options for breakfast such as bacon, egg, and cheese on an english muffin, yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, bagel and lox, and more. now for their sandwich options, there was a ton. so ill be editing my post after i happen to try one. haha the place was also huge so plenty of seating room! yay!

As always, I got great service here. They even remembered how I like my sandwich. Always a plus in any establishment.

The best place on the block for a quick work-week lunch. The place is clean and efficient, the sandwiches fresh and large. Salads get good reviews from my colleagues. I usually order the smoked turkey panini, featuring Boars Head turkey breast, and dijon with a little kick to it. Stick to the deli sandwiches — because a chicken parm sandwich here means deli meat chicken breast, it is not a grill place.

A convenient place to get a quick bite or drink at the base of an office building. There are many breakfast choices such as bagels and sandwiches ranging in price from $ 1.99 to $ 3.79. If you’re into lunch, there are sandwiches, paninis, and salads. Coffee is probably the drink of choice for most people. The cream and sugar station is pleasantly large and clean. The interior of the café is spacious and clean as well, with nice comfortable chairs. Smoothies and bottled juices are also available for those not into java. Oxford is also a deli selling meats and cheese. For the snacking type, candies and chips are also available but a bit overpriced.

The reason I give this joint four stars is because of the value of the food you receive. I ordered a turkey sandwich. They cut your sandwich in half and the first thing your eye latches onto is the amount of meat they stack onto your sandwich. From what I remember the sandwich was approximately $ 6 – 7 dollars! That’s such a great value for a huge sandwich especially in Washington DC. This is a good spot to get lunch or catch up with a friend if you both work around the area. A strange plus for me is that they have outlets! This might be important for those who need to use a laptop during lunch or, like me, those who have phones that are running out of batteries. The workers are very friendly and from what I observe, they definitely acknowledge their frequent customers. Now the taste of the sandwich itself is typical. It is just a typical sandwich. One that you can build at home yourself so it is really nothing special.

This is the best breakfast or lunch spot in dc. Awesome sandwiches great bagel w/lox. I haven’t had anything I didn’t love from there yet, friendly staff and good prices for really really good food. Prosciutto Sadnwich(Panini) is absolutely amazing.

I was very excited when this new café opened near my office and have been pretty pleased so far. All of the panini I have tried(esp the roast beef and the grilled chicken with mozzarella and pesto) were quite good and priced on par with most other places in the area. Another great perk is the offering of assorted candies and snacks, including a range of European brands you don’t always see. Their materials say various things about supporting socially responsible businesses, but the evidence isn’t there to support claims one way or the other — seems like they are trying, though. The service is okay — they still have a few kinks to work out of the system. I also wish they gave better instructions for new folks about how to order(in short: best if by number on the menu). All in all, a good choice if you’re looking for a lunch place between Dupont and Farragut!

I usually hit the CA Grill or Jack’s Fresh when I’m lazy, but luckily another lunch spot opened up on M St. near my workplace and I just had to check it out. I was actually a few days behind my coworkers who had already been and gave it pretty positive reviews. Harvest Cobb Salad, yum! Roast Turkey sandwich with all extras, fresh Boar’s Head, filling! I don’t eat out enough to know if it is pricey, my sandwich was around $ 6 so I think it is relatively average priced? Variety in the menu from custom sandwich, focaccia sandwich, hot panini’s, wraps, salads and smoothies. The other stuff outside the general sandwiches seem pricey though(wraps at $ 7-$ 8?) but like I said I don’t eat around here often. I think the best part is because it is new it hasn’t reach the usual business of a DC lunch crowd(I hope that it’s not because it’s not good…). My sandwich was ready a few seconds after I paid. Lots of open space if you wanted to sit and eat too.
