For all taste preferences and any weather, Peet’s Lattes are available hot or iced.

I randomly stumbled upon this Peets location and decided to go in since I had some money left on my groupon deal. The service at this location is nicer than the one on 17th street. Also, it’s larger in here – no problem finding a place to sit. I got the dirty chai and since it was raining, I sat in the store. I didn’t really like the dirty chai but since I’ve never had a dirty chai latte before, I don’t know if it’s just that place or I don’t like them in general. I like this location, I’d go back.

I tried to order a cold brew and the man at the counter acted like I spoke Greek. so instead I ordered a black coffee and he gave me a dirty look like I said something wrong. When asked my name, I said Ashley and he laughed in my face. ok coffee, rude staff.

Quick in and out for my morning coffee and water while visiting DC. Price seemed fare, quality was fare, and I didn’t feel gouged like in other parts of the city. Other customers were the main source of annoyance but maybe I just hadn’t had my coffee yet.

First time here. I don’t like to review and rate until I’ve experienced consistent product at least twice or three times, but hey. Peet’s been around a while and this is my first time in. Don’t know when I’ll be back.
I went on a fluke because I was feening for an espresso drink. The seasonal offerings were calling me. Salted caramel macchiato was my drink of choice! I wasn’t disappointed! There were so many people out on the patio (the weather is unseasonably nice today)– good sign. It was definitely like the espresso happy hour. The drink hit the spot– creamy foam with the caramel lightly swirled and a pinch of sea salt, espresso in the middle and more caramel flavoring at the bottom. it was layers of coffee bean happiness. The store was neat, inviting with many treats abound. Nice touch to a Fall afternoon.
Thanks to the barista (so sad that I didn’t get his name) that gave me some afternoon lovin’ in the form of espresso.

As a native New Yorker, I know my coffee shops as a place to relax and/​or get some work done. Here in DC on business, I went to one of the numerous coffee shops in this area around the hotel. I had never been to a Peet’s Coffee before, but there were plenty of seats at this location and it seemed inviting.
This location is very spacious and has ample outdoor seating as well. There was a variety of seating choices from chair/​desk to sofa chairs to benches. Good for meeting in small groups as well as getting some work done individually. As a place to do work, it could use more available outlets. Wifi was free and without issue.
The expresso drinks I had were very well made and very flavorful, since I’m accustomed to paying a lot of money for coffee beans/​water mixtures, I wasn’t taken aback by the prices. I usually sip coffee, but the «Mayan Mocha» I had was so good I was drinking faster than usual.
My main problem with the location is the EXTREMELY early closing time. Maybe I’m biased by living in NYC, but a coffee shop which closes at 5pm seems unreal. Especially since there were 5 – 8 people in the shop they had to kick out at closing time, they probably could stand to stay open a little later and may still have had some business come in.
Overall a good experience, but just wish they stayed open longer.

I came in with a coworker friend of mine, and I was surprised how friendly all the employees were. This was definitely more of a Berkley feel for me compared to some of the other locations (*coughs* Silver Spring). Everyone greeted us upon walking in, and smiled the entire time.
We ordered. Our drinks came out in no time. The drinks were ON POINT.
It was afternoon and the place was packed both indoors and outdoors. We ended up waiting for a counter space, and sitting for a bit.
Great store. Great service. My favorite by far.

Not a spot to sit and remotely work in peace unless you come around afternoon hours.
The space is very open and the staff is super friendly. My favorite is the iced caramel macchiato & pumpkin latte. Usually the staff does a better job making lattes during the morning time instead of the evenings.
Definitely a must coffee stop when you’re out and about by the nation’s capital!

Great service and tasty latte’s for a fraction of the cost of Starbucks. The sitting area was crowded at noon on a Friday, but the vibe was lively. Worth your money for sure.
I had a pumpkin spiced latte chai with soy milk. It tasted a little more pumpkin-​ey than I typically like but was tasty nonetheless. My medium-​sized cup was somewhere between a Grande and Venti for $ 5.68.

I am here a lot. God help me and my bank account, I go through spurts where it is almost daily. The drinks are consistently good and the staff friendly. There are times, especially on a weekday morning, where they get a little behind and it can get annoying. I just try to go early and avoid the masses.
There is a lot of nice seating and outlets. To me it is just a more welcoming feel than Starbucks. I wish that they had a reward program but they don’t that I know about.

The stars are for the environment and also for the early opening hours, but not for the coffee I ordered. Got myself a iced matcha green tea latte, but it was disappointing. All I tasted was the milk, there was hardly any green tea flavor to it. Had I blindfolded myself, I would be super convinced that I was drinking iced milk.
It’s about the same price as Starbucks. So if you want green tea flavored drinks, I would suggest going to Starbucks for them instead. If anything, I do hope their other coffee drinks are better. I may try them when I’m desperate for coffee in the future.

Pretty clean and nice service. The cold brew at Peet’s is surprisingly smooth. Their regular drip feels a little on the strong side, but the cold brew is remarkably balanced.
The place is a little loud, but it’s not too bad. There aren’t many arm chairs; it’s mostly tables, so it’s a good environment for knocking out some work (not sure what the outlet situation is like).
Really it’s a pretty good Peet’s location.

Peet’s. I’m trying. I think I may have to give up on you.
I work across from this Peet’s and so it would be awesome if I loved it but this review has nothing to do with the quality of the coffee/​products. My experiences here have only been negative-​ish.
The last four times I’ve been here (this is not an exaggeration), I’ve had to ask if my iced coffee will ever be prepared. It seems the iced coffees slip through the cracks between the people who instantly get their drip coffees and the people who wait a few minutes for their fancy lattes. I’m just over it taking 10 minutes after I’m ordering and also having to remind the staff to make my coffee. Also– no rewards program — WHY?

I am writing this review based on my experience with their iced coffee, I am a huge iced coffee fanatic and I was pretty impressed by the knowledge of the barista’s, the friendliness and the quick service.
I ordered the hazelnut iced coffee, as per my barista’s suggestion and it was yummy!
When it comes to flavored coffee it is hard to find the ones that actually taste as to what they are advertised but this was great!
I would definitely recommend Peet’s.

Met a friend here. Very good location. Nice coffee with flavors I had not tasted before. They have a photo wall with printed photos taken by folks who used the hashtag #peetsdc
I also had oatmeal and was surprised to be charged for the almonds and raisins toppings. Did not think that was a good idea.
I will go back to try other new flavors. There is no Peets near me I think.

Ordered an almond mocha latte before heading to a training course across the street. Took 2 sips and threw it away. It was entirely TOO SWEET… I felt as if I was drinking liquid sugar!
The barista was SUPER friendly and so was the cashier. Great location. Clean and ample add-​ons (napkins, etc.), if needed.
That drink was just too sweet for my liking, though I am sure I would give it another try with another coffee or tea drink.
I won’t be ordering the almond mocha latte, though.

Went to Peet’s today, and was awed by the most amazing coffee flavor. The best part about the experience was the wonderful barista Laura. Laura is not only pleasant, but also makes the best coffee out of all the baristas I’ve ever ordered from!
I’m so impressed by this Peet’s coffee and I would recommend this shop to anyone. I would say it’s better than Starbucks, but they are so different in level off skill, that it is honestly not a fair comparison, Peet’s is a whole different world of coffee that stands miles above your average coffee. A wonderful shop with pleasant employees, if you’re looking for a great coffee experience, please do yourself a huge favor and try out Peet’s!

I’m sad to say I am not a Peet’s fan. I think it’s overrated, overpriced, and just okay overall. They don’t have any warm food (except cereal) and are unable to heat up the cold sandwiches. The pastries are good, but not worth the price. I want a coffee shop I can have my Saturday breakfast at, and I just can’t eat the refrigerated, $ 8 small sandwich they have.
Silver lining is the space is big and the wifi works well. If you come early enough it’s easy to find a spot and get settled with whatever work you have. There’s soy milk you can help yourself to. Sadly I wish this place were still a Caribou.

I went to the Unilocal Event, Unilocal Gets Buzzed at Peet’s Coffee & Tea and it was awesome!
Peet’s Coffee and Tea was an awesome event. Free unlimited coffee and foooooood. I’m not a crazy coffee drinker, so my drink of choice was the Matcha Green Tea Freddo. YUM! Everything was delicious and all the workers were so nice and enthusiastic. It was fun to learn about the different ways to make coffee and the art of the cappuccino. David was awesome and a wonderful barista. I got mad respect for all coffee workers now.
I would def go back to Peet’s Coffee & Tea! You can really tell the baristas there love their job and are coffee nuts! (which is a good thing) Peet’s had a really friendly and inviting atmosphere.
I wish I worked closer to one, but I would def go out of my way to go back.
